Sreesanth the fast bowler
by BHUPESH S on Oct 28, 2009 10:06 AM

I too though being a north India was brought up in Kerala hence closely followed up Tinu and sreesanth's progress to national team, let us not get regional, sree is a very talented and promising player, a fast bowler has to get into the nerves of a batsman which he does succesfully,, only he should master the art of not overstepping it so that it does not become a discipline issue,,,

Sreesanth is good bowler but not intelligent
by ashish kumar on Oct 15, 2009 08:59 AM

Foreign player shows aggression to break the concentration of opponent, while Sreesanth do this to make happy himself and end up with fine by refree. Sreesanth is not very diffrent from other indian bowler but media give him too much time because of his celebrity status. He should be left alone untill he get control over his mind.

BCCI plays politics
by saajan on Oct 14, 2009 11:22 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI wants to please Dhoni as Dhoni wants to please Harbachan by keeping sreesant out of the team. BCCI forgets that India got 20:20 world cup and sree's contribution was great. Sreesant's bowling average is very good comparing other bowlers. In IPL also Sreeant became most wicket taker (as Indian) overall he was number two as warne became maximum first. I request BCCI avoid politics.

WELL DONE BCCI... but should be fair
by Sumit on Oct 14, 2009 09:58 PM

I am a Keralite and I was so happy while he was playing for India. Since Tinu Yohannan could not succeed in Indian team, it was nice to see Sree is playing constantly for India. But I was always worried to see his antics on field and sledging habits. But I still believe he is one of the best pace bowler in India at the moment who can bowl with Zaheer. He is far better than Ishant, RP & Praveen. BCCI should not try to keep him away from Indian senior team by this act. This warning is a lesson for him and if he changes, the selectors should be fair to him.

BCCI Warning to Sreesanth
by ravi menon on Oct 14, 2009 08:37 PM

Sreesanth got Final warning from BCCI for what?
Harbhajan Singh didnt even get a single warning from BCCI why? When compare the behaviour of Sreesanths with Harbhajans, sreesanth is at least 200 percent better than harbhajan. Now sreesanth is on the way coming back to Indian Team, the way he bowled in Irani & challenger finals he deserve a recall. Now somebody in BCCI starts the play and want to see him out. Everybody knows he is an arrogant player, but this is the time BCCI should support him. I think they want him to be out of reckoning then they can include Ishant,RP, Munaf etc etc

Sreesanth's behaviour
by V Menon on Oct 14, 2009 06:17 PM

Sreesanth has been one of the few bowlers whose body language is aggressive and like bowlers from Australia. He has produced several match winning performances. His perfomance in the semi-final of Twenty twenty World cup against Australia, and in a Test match in South Africe are the most memorable.

I agree that his behaviour on the field is sometimes deplorable especially taunting the opponent after getting his wicket. It is surprising that inspite of so many warning and criticism , he has not been able to change.

Sreesanth himself says he is trying to change and let us hope he succeeds .

Unlike his name he is not at all cool in the field.BCCI instead of issuing a warning should send him to a rehabilitation center to control is ill temper if Shreeshant really want to play for or in India. It happened to Mr.Symmonds
