The BCCI official who intiated this directive should be brought to be accountable. He has acted in a high handed manner and has taken advantage of Sreesanth's previous record. How are people like Harbhajan Singh and Dhawal Kulkarni who had intiated the act become lesser culprits than him.

Now plz dont support him being a keralite yourself. It was fair.Did you by any chance saw the Irani Trophy match??
Sreesanth has become an easy target, ever since he started crying on the field. Though he has at times been at fault, it must be understood he's highly passionate and that can result in verbal abuses at opposition. Dont you remember that in 2006, he even sledged tendulkar? Lot of bowlers in India do it and why are the board picking on only him? I feel we could lose our best swing bowler in the years to come, as its passion which drives his performance. Asking him to control himself would restrict him to some 130 k medium pace bowler like butler, watson etc. IN any case, a person who slaps continues to play for India while Sree suffers.

Well handling your emotions is something he needs to learn. He is not a kid. So no excuses. Harbhajan hasnt done those antics again and on field he does not behave like a joker as appam does. So there is a difference.

Absolutely! Harbhajan goes around slapping and he's now an automatic selection. Anyone can have a temper, and he should be handled carefully instead of giving warnings like these. Its a clear case of partiality .

sreesanth is an excellent quality bowler with huge energy reserves....
i personally always wanted someone to counter all those aussie sledgers when there were none from the sub-continent
but...
there's a stark contrast between sledging and just reacting to the situation... what sree does on field isn't 'coz ve attitude oozes from his character, it seems more out of fear that batsman may hit me next ball and i need to stop that. he's far too reserved in reality which shows in his off-field behavior... his aggressiveness on the field is just for the sake of doing it as the aussies do it...there's no obvious conviction...
i mean whenever mcgrath, gillespie,&co sledged they followed it up with substance which they always had for backup...
sree sledges...and what does he do next?? gives some horribly HIT-ME balls which are spanked for 4/6...what's the point in sledging then??
i personally don't like sledging any bit, and always wanted someone to give it back to aussies, but definitely not this way.....sledging is more about body-language, not acting different from what we are, on the field...
if he learns to sledge properly and smartly, exploiting the loopholes in the sledging rules, which aussies have mastered over the years, i believe he'll receive thumbs up from bcci, icc as well as all other indian cricket fans...

Quite true and we all agree, But if you can bowl very well, you don't actually need sledging.. Remember what happened with Stuart Broad? Yuvraj got angry with Flintoff's sledging and hit him off for 6 sixes even when he sent good length balls.. better do your job properly than trouble others..
There is a saying in Malayalam " Enthina Ammava enne thallunne , njan nere avilla". I do not know whether i translated properly. Sreesant is a blessed and talented bowler. We used to pray for him when he is playing for India. It is very difficult to change the attitude of certain people esp.when he thinks that he is doing 100% correct. By the time he realises his mistakes, he should be out. We thought after the One crore worth hit from Bhajji , he will be all right. But no use
Sreesant besides on field behaviour off field also abnoxious full of airs he thinks he is a star .Idiot .He thinks he is above all advice and he doesnt take sane advice .BCCI is too liberal with him .They should have warned him earlier and kicked him out of cricket much earlier.

Alas the has discovered the fact that sreesa is temperamental child and full of tantrums. In my view his level of int is less than a LKG kid and he feels he is on top everytime he is in the team and can behave in any manner he feels. It is the fault of MSD who has no guts to control him and get him into the tune. May be keralites enjoy his childish behaviour but not all.He has digged his own grave.
It is all Bhajji's fault. He hit Sreesanth hard on his head and that one blow changed Sreesanth's behaviour for ever. Otherwise, earlier he was as cool as cucumber!!
