It was very sensible batting display and they clicked at right time. Great thing was to preserve wickets till the powerplay is taken. Today's one day format is so much relied on smart use of Powerplays. Dhoni needs to learn that.
It is going to be great battle between mighty aussies and clever Vettori....what a winning punch by vettori yesterday taking batting powerplay at a crucial moment in match.....my heart is with Vettori but mind with Oz's.

It was great captaincy. I felt Dhoni failed to realize that we needed a powerplay when Raina was on crease against Pak.

In each game one has to win and other has to loose. here NS vs Pak some people supported Pak, because they are our neighbours, and it is better neighbour to take cup against white remote people ? Is it bad? After all supporting a team is an individual choice and the good team must be winning team everywhere. Where as if PAK/INDIA match , it is a birth right of all indian to support India only because India is our mother country. Dont mix politics in sports. But SOME Stupid people never understand the facts.

Rama, If that neighbour has a dangerous bent of mind towards you and you still support them, then you are sick and not him.
Did anyone else feel that pakistan deliberately batted badly against Australia so that India would stay out? But full credit to them, they bowled themselve back into the match and almost won...

Pakistan batted OK against Australia. They were 78-5 against Westindies too. So I dont think Pakistan has great batting line-up. Aus pace attack is too good for Pak and they could reach only 205. What I feel is Australia wanted to tie the match with Pak and they batted badly intentionally. Last run too they took dangerously to get run out but Akmal missed the stumps.

I am no pakistan fan, but some wickets they took towards the end were of some excellent deliveries, one can't deny that. And some of pakistani dismissals were so suspicious... like Yousuf's skier and Misbah's hit wicket

Misbah is like Mohinder Amarnath, specialist of getting out strangely. I am not denying Pak bowling effort. But moreso was Aussies deliberate mediocre batting. They started well and suddenly decided not to hit and run rate of 7 came down to 4 in just 3 overs.

Hiral, why would Australia try to tie the match when they were winning it quite comfortably?
