Gambhir has what it takes to become the greatest player of test cricket for india. Sachin was only a ODi cricket player and he could never cross 250 in test match. Sehwag and Gambhir opening stand is very crucial, since they also score faster and makes it easier for victory.

Every player including Gambhir having its own specialities but no player including Gambhir is suppose to be compared with Sachin. He is all time best performer both version in Test as well as ODI. To start a carrier against the super pacers at the age of 16 years, to maintain the fitness for a period of more than 20 years upto the level of international competion and lead the team from front against any bowling attach, at any venue around the world is not a jok. These are the qualities of a great players. Some players may have good average than Sachin, some may have good strike rate but ultimatly they can not pull their carrier long. Kids if you remember, about 10 years ago most of the crickters of the world were calling the Indian team as "One man Army". Because there were no quality player or finisher like today's Sehwag, Yuvraj, Gambhir, Dhoni. Just think and then compare Gambhir with Sachin.
