With due respects to our players it is high time that our system throws up some promising youngsters. We still have tio depend on Laxman, Dravid and Sachin and even Shewag, Yuvi. Dhoni etc can almost be called veterans.
It is refreshing to see youngsters like Adrian Bharat of West Indies, Ameer and Akmal of Pakistan and Shakir of Bangla Desh coming up on the horizon. Like to see some young stars in the Indian team too!

Your point is well taken, but the point is how would u test them if they don't get a chance? We have highly promising youngsters like cheteswar pujara, manish pandey who are never even considered. Again, till our seniors are there, these guys would never get a chance and one would never know whether they are good or not.

Everyone will believe in this that North Indians are real match winners than their south indian or marathi counterparts.From the earlier times when sunil Gavaskar was captain, he was only interested in drawaing match and under his captaincy India could newer blossom.
Take the captaincy of Kapil dwv who was a match winner and India lifted the world cup under his captaincy.
Even today while there is tendulkar or agarkar or younger Rohit sharma .They are all useless cricketers and have neverbeen match winners.they always scrumbles under pressure. Now take shewag,Gambir,Raina,Yuvraj,kaif or Dhoni.They have atlease win some matches under pressure cooker situations.
So there should be more north indian players in Indian team.

i agree with you.Sachin always sits at back, mean to say he never come forward to public,he never be bold captain,he never leads from front for any innings he played but others like Kapil Dev, Saurav Ganguly,Yuvi,Sehwag,Gambir,Kaif,Sreeshanth,Harbhajan,Raina and very bold in their batting or at public and in team and so they are all match winners. only media,mumbai supports in commentary team and BCCI are bringing sachin to light but in real sachin is a negative impact for winning matches for INDIA.His highest scores in Test and ODI matches reflect his name but not INDIA in winning matches of those he played ?

Gautam Gambhir is one of the match winner. In 20-20 final, Gambhir played match winning score and in 100th test match also he played a match winning innings. Sehwag,Dravid and laxman are amoung the match winners as a batsman. Refer to sachin's innings of highest 175 in ODI,he played till last moment ie., requiring 19 runs of 18 balls but as Sachin never and ever stands himself as a match winner,his played innings always looses matches for INDIA. Sachin should also learn from Murali (srilankan)who feels that he is struggling to deliver,he aired his feeling that he may retire before 2011 world cup though he is draming to play till 2011 world cup.Murali is not selfish and wanted to sideline when he cannot perform? What about sachin ? Sachin innings are not giving INDIA winning matches then why sachin is so particular to play till 2011 world cup ?
