its nice to see good turns on the pitch. Laxman, dhoni, yuvi, bhajji, zaheer and sreesanth got out on very good balls (pitch made these balls very effective). Now pitch has started showing its nature. so see how bhajji & ojha takes the advantage of this continuously deteriorating pitch.
India should play 10 overs more and make 50-70 runs. 680-720 will be good target.
As we can see batting is not easy on that track. Bowl is coming more slow and low as time progress. It will not be easy for Srilankans to save this test.
If a third class batsman like Gambhir, can hit two consecutive hunderds, then it is all due to the placid nature of pitch rather than his batting skills. where does his century disappear when he plays abroad?

ignorant idiot gambhir scored 2 consecutive test centuries in new zealand just a few months back...he's not a 3rd class batsman...in fact...within the present lot of players...he is the only one who shows promises to be able to uplift his game & sustain that kind of form that needs to be bracketed together with classy batsmen like sachin, dravid, laxman, sourav, sehwag....yes, gambhir is the only one among all these- yuvi, dhoni, rohit, raina, yusuf, jadeja, uthappa, virat etc etc....who can match up with the golden circle of sachin saurav dravid laxman sehwag in terms of test & ODi batsmanship combined !!

mr. ashok for ur kind information i would like to tel u that gambhir's batting average is 71.53 outside india. when gambhir made a come back into indian test squad in sri lanka 2008 he scored 310 at an average of 51.66 against a bowling attack that include world class spinners murali & mendis. 1 more thing, except sehwag & gambhir, no one among Indian greats looked comfortable against murali & mendis.

One of the best pitch good to bat on , we now have a excellent coach and captain both world best
This is a very bad strategy by Captain Dhoni asking Bhajji to keep his wickets till tea. When it is universally known that Bhajji does not have technique to bat defensive he would have survived only if was allowed to play natural game. Very poor captaincy.
He'd have another useless record if it was a 50. Then 2 weeks of SRT celebrations for scoring more self records.
The blind SRT fan adulation is plain sickening. No one else cares. In any country they usually laud winners for the team cause, not personal record chasers.

It is individual’s interest and they have their own admiration and rights. tell me your interests and what you are admired of and I will promise that many people will go against your likings.
