ten is the unuciest player in the cricket, even he scoring achieving manything, because when plays in the game, he onlyplays, rest all zero, that is the reason most of the matches sachin plays well are losing games. We have to uderstand that cricket is team game. winning and losing is based on the over all performance of the team member. Criticising tendulkar on the basis of match winner is not fair and he played his best always and he is genious in cricket. His contribution always 100% when he plays. We should not expect 200%from him.
He cant make anything in the cricket life. So he should not open his mouth about other successor in the cricket. Time changing, everything changes. Not only batting, bowling also so good now a days compare than olden games. Even galdiator pretect their body with some safe guard. Live is important than cricket. Bloody artherton, shut ur mouth
Out of the 436 matches he played in one day cricket, Tendulkar won the MoM award 61 times, i.e. once every SEVEN matches. If he is not a match-winner, who is?
If you people say SRT is not greatest just because he didn't win world cups for India then Brian Lara didn't win world cup for west indies also. Bradman didn't win world cup too. So Lara is not greatest and Bradman is also not great. SACHIN IS THE GREATEST OF ALL......

Had that mumbai remarks been made by any other player, the BCCI would have asked him not to speak to the media or would say that BCCI has nothing for or against the comments. As Sachin made those comments, BCCI backed him and asked Thakeray to apologize. Sachin has his own lobby like Sonia Gandhi and manages to have the BCCI take decisions as per his convinience

BCCI has asked the players to not to talk about cricket matters man, not about any social issues. They are private citizens, can talk whatever they choose to, just like you are blabbering here.( for that matter, me too)
Now all the rediff readers who has no other work will start barking like dogs. Making there comments about Sachin and other players and comparing him with others and so on and so on. Please give him a space, after all he is a humanbeing.
Sachin is not a match winner. We can do his measurement only through performance and not by outcomes. We cannot compare him with Match winners like Steve Waugh, Brian Lara, Salim Malik, Michael Beven and Kapil Dev. No not at all. I think he still lacks playing below type of deliveries and shots.
1) In swinging ball which goes through bat and pad. 2) A cut shot which cannot go past beyond point or short cover. 3) Getting out lbw for balls coming middle and leg. 4) He feared against Allen Donald, McGrath, Gillespie, Lee, Akram. 5) He cannot come down the track and hit Murali, Saqlain, Mendis. He is afraid.
Atherton is right ! Once in a while he clicks and people make a merry of it. He might have won only 10-15 matches in 436 matches.
He takes 10-15 matches to come to form and scores a century and selectors continue him for next one year. If he was treated like others I don't think he would have scored these many runs. Presently he just going with nameplate rather than sheer performance. He scored 178 but did he won the match for us against Aussies. That is the real difference b/w greats and not greats.

He holds the world record for the most number of Man of the Series (MoS) and Man of the Match (MoM) awards in ODI matches.[2] Tendulkar also holds the record for most number of MoM awards in Cricket World Cup matches (8 MoM Awards in 36 games).[3] --Source wikipedia You must be speaking through your **s.
