Great. Stop coming over these forums. :)

I suspect no one entered your house to forcibly give you the overdose. :)

Very true. This will be probably the first time when a player will also be the coach of the team. :)

If Dhoni can be the captain and play as well, Sachin can definitely - at your most express request - be the coach and play too. :)

Too much being talked about
by amrit on Nov 14, 2009 09:59 AM  | Hide replies

Real stats dont speak much for him other than 20 long years of playing and making runs in those long years......Pele and Maradona are known for singlehandedly steering their team to WC WINS

Amrit:

Absolutely. I distinctly remember how Maradona used to dribble the ball alone to the opponents goal, and then rapidlly return to his own goalpost to save the goal when the opponents attacked.

No one can ever forget those days... Haven't seen soccer at that level since Maradona became a drug addict. :)

Amrit:

That is another good story. Especially the match where Pele and Maradona were playing in the Wimbledon Centre Court and Maradona I think beat Pele 21-15, 21-17, 17-21, 24-22. :)

I'm sure you would definitely remember that world renowned match after which Viswanthan Anand really picked up his Snooker skills. :)

Tendulkar, the Great
by T KRISHNAN on Nov 14, 2009 09:45 AM

Whatever may be the opinion of various persons writing in this column, the fact remains that Tendulkar has achieved feats which very few have achieved before him. Landmarks are set for others to break. A Ponting or an X or Y or Z may break his records tomorrow. But now, we are talking of a person who has remained at the very top for 20 long years. His body has withstood the test of time. God, isn't Tendulkar a great guy! Let's salute his spirit and his dedication to Indian team.

Thriller...

There are people to criticize everything and anything. Sport is for entertainment. And when Sachin performs, its absolute thrill.. maximum adrenaline. Doesn't matter win or lose. Tell me another Indian cricket player who can get you to your toes like this master...

To all the Sachin fans...guys keep up the good work.. I dont think we do need to defend God do we? Sachin has proved himself in every sphere of life, be it cricket, be it away from the ground. People who do not respect him are nothing but morons who are jealous, who have bad memory and can only recall India's losses, who have this habit of criticizing winners, who are basically losers. So let those losers crib here. We have more important work to do. Follow the GOD... Follow Sachin.. Sachin .. We are always with you at every step. I am lucky to have been born in this era to witness almost every great innings of yours. I still believe that all these losers also bow down in awe, when you play that straight drive of yours. Your 20 years devoted to the country have been the most entertaining years of cricket, mark my words. Thanks for all those straight drives, the flicks, that pull of caddick, the upper cut of akhtar, the six spree in sharjah and the more recent one against australia. Thanks for entertaining us for years and never tiring of it. Thanks man....:)
