i commnented just after after first 2 matches that sehwag is not in form and his slam bang approach shall expose him. he is not fully fit he dropped catches. he was lucky to be dropped in soem innings, but stil did not utilise chances. he was lucky to escape casual running. his batting was shoter than t20 appreance. in all, his future is very dark. i think old sehwag is gone forever.
I Think team Selection is wrong all the top 7 indian bastman is stroke player. india need to one or two bastman like darvid, kaif, badrinath etc who biuld the inning by single and double
Dravid would have made difference in both low scoring matches. which India failed to chase 225 odd runs & yesterday's match.Don't always expect big score from Mr.consistant but his could help team India to win matches.
indians are basicakly very inconsistent in this game that depends so much on luck. so on luck india won a few matches. actualy except a few most of the players are not as good as county players in england with regard to techniques. i am sorry to say this, but this is the fact. a certain amount of agility and reflexes helps onelie sehwag hit on and on . but a good bowler will get him out easily. as for our bowlers thye hav no flight , variety . justsoem speed. won't help. . spin is actually very good but even the great kumble relied much on speed. when Indian bowlers bowl and bowly for long ,batsmen lose concentratinand get a wicket..so india gets..a wicket. IT IS SAD THAT AT THE EXPENSE OF THIS FLUKE AND LUCK-BASED GAME ALL OTHER EXCELENT GAMES LIKE FOOTBALL, HOCKEY, VOLLEY BALL, BASKET BALL ETC ARE SACRIFICED. WILLOUR SPORTS MINISTRE TAKE NOTE AND DISSOLE bcci? SACRIFICED.
First u cannot chase a score of 250 on a batting pitch, then u get out cheaply on a flat track and u depend on players like Praveen n Jadeja to help u cross 100 runs and top of that Dhoni feels this is not our worse defeat..what a shame..I dont know why dhoni wants to comapare his failures to the past captains..even when as a champ of t20 we were out in the second round he is saying I have not forgotten our world cup exit..when dravid was a cap...strange instead of learning he is making a inspiration from himself from apst defeats...i feel we should get Dravid bck..we know he is slow..but he is the real wall..who is there for u when reqd...Australia hats off as there B team have defeated India in there own soil...

he is loosing out time batting he is loosing it on money minting so why take his fault ?? he has 10 ready made goats so blame one at eachpost match questions... max 5 - 7 game series so his turn will never come ... hahahahaa
BCCI must use its influence to make the 50 over match become a 30 or 40 over match so our players can play till the last over. This way we will not need the service of Dravid who our dear captain Dhobi doesn't want in the team.
After Wining the Toss yesterday Dhoni wanted to Bat first dont know what he was thinking when he opted for same..how can he say it will swing only for first half an hour and its ok if we lose few wickets in first half an hour of the match..Dhoni Lack of Confidence in Bowling first and also chasing Targets against Aus in this series is quiet evident with this decision.
Sachin scored 175 in 1 match & the country hailed him like a demi-god. No one realsied that he has not played upto his potential in the other 5 games. Ditto for other players. Aussie score card reads CONSISTENCY. Rarely do they have a batsmen who doesnt cross the 25 or 30 run mark. This is where we lose the plot
So no worries! don't blame Dhoni. he does so well in his ads, doesn't he? lol India dropped Dravid, but it seemed like Hussey was doing a Dravid for Australia and winning them matches.

Exactly....a blunder committed by selection committe by dropping dravid cost the series for india...how can u expect a team to win a series without their most consistent and competent player who excels under tough situation consistantly...?? Rahul dravid is the man india needed right now for team india.....

yes Rahul.. another CULCULATION mistake just like another spelling mistake from you. its CALCULATION and not CULCULATION as you typed :-)
What would Dravid do if you win toss on a moisture filled wicket (an early 8.30 am start) and give the advantage (of bowling and using all the moisture to good effect and exploiting the good fast bowling conditions FIRST) to opposition team ,that too an opposition like Australia whose pacers consistently hit the deck at over 140 kmph speeds unlike Indian pacers who are 10-15 kmph slower and a tend to be wayward in line length too with too many deliveries outside OFF stump or on batsman's leg side (waiting to be smashed or flicked to the fence).
In early morning start with dew on the wicket, its "Win toss and bowl, use the JUICE on the wicket in first 1 hour or so and pick up wickets, before sunrays dry up the surface and make it easier to bat on later" (simple logic)
Doesn't matter if Dravid plays or Sachin plays or any great player plays, all will struggle with the ball skidding on and coming fast at to you at a great pace (and within the 3 stumps) that too with mositure on the wicket.
Ridiculous decision by DHONI to bat first. I told my dad in over 1 itself , Dhoni has made a bad decision to BAT first. Strange decision from DHONI it was that too when this was MUST WIN match for India to stay alive in this series.

Throught his career Dravid excelled in his batting under these kind of pitches against quality pace attack.....I think u have limited cricketing knowledge....u expect too much frm these flat pitch bullies..sehwag,raina,dhoni,yuvraj.....sorry these guys are no match to dravid in terms of performance under these tough situation ...india lost series because of Dravid's absence and nothing else...we have to accept this..

this is the worst indian side in terms of fielding (even worse than when we had madanlal, roger binny with potbelly but they had will to fight atleast) and they chucked out laxman and dravid lol ..ponting n team hitting the stump from infield is a common sight while our players doing so must be rarest sight in this world !! Kudos ..but don't worry we will thrash Sri Lankans (I pray 4 reverse)
