India needs to get it's bowling combination sorted out!
by amit kalyanpur on Nov 05, 2009 02:58 AM

Hi,
India's bowling has been very inconsistent throughout the tournament. Ishant Sharma & Harbhajan Singh need to spearhead the bowling attack go for the kill. Sachin Tendulkar needs to fire now, it's high time! Mr.Consistent Dhoni needs to keep up his good work and continue batting well. Yuvi, when he plays well he gives India a great chance of winning the match. Sehwag needs to score a big one too. Good luck!

If this series is fixed then India should win the game at Hyd
by UsualSuspect on Nov 05, 2009 12:23 AM

"What may concern him though is the fact that India is yet to win a match on the ground, having lost the two games they played on it, to South Africa in 2005-06 and the Aussies in 2007."

If the series is fixed or orchestrated (as some people would like to believe) then there is a good chance that the result at Hyd will be in India's favor because India's odds are low (and India's win will benefit the bookies at lot).

ODI series globally like WWF, pre planned
by mammen antony on Nov 04, 2009 11:59 PM  | Hide replies

ODI series globally like WWF, pre planned, by the concerned officials of both teams in tacit understanding with Umpires with an objective to keep the thrill alive till the penultimate game and the euphoria at its peak on the decider(game)with the sole intention of luring the public and therby squeezing the maximum pecuniary benefit out of it, so that Players will be richer, Umpires will be richer,Officials of the Both cricketing nations will be richer, and the hoi polloi will be poorer. You see a similarity in WWF, where the the contestants kicking each other , beating each other with Iron chairs etc, in all these WWF rounds, have you ever seen a guy bleeding, or a contestant taken to Hospital with a grave injury. It is all sham,a sheer act of bluffing my dear, to lure the mass. The fate of the bout, or Cricket game is decided not on the ring or ground but in the dressing rooms.

Which sport doesnt have fixing ? F1,Tennis,HorseRacing everywhere there is fixing. But the point is how do u percieve these things. As a fan, when i see the current series, i dont see a single instance where there was fixing. Even in the australias win, their bowling was too good, their fielding was good. Look at India, how they fielded in previous game. I didnt see a single drop catch,Yuvraj dropped a sitter, but the same ball he got a runout.I dont think these matches are fixed. If this is the kind of entertainment they can give me, i dont care whether it is fixed.
