The governments wat to use players as scape goats to show thet the situation is normal. Why can't Farook ask his entire Ministers and MLAs to have an exibition match instead. He can't becuase personal safety of polititians come above the safety of citizens and country, always.
any team is entitled to pull out if it believes its players are in mortal danger. Kashmir is far from OK and sonia and abdulla with Z category security are hardly the voices to listen to.
Its easy to sit in mumbai and claim all is well. we have seen what these jokers did on 26/11. mumbai shut down for 2 days even though the attacks at taj, oberoi and nariman house were contained at those locations.
BCCI board should camp in Srinagar for 30 days with normal player security to show that its safe and to ensure the perparations are OK on the pitch and off it.
I am happy to see that after taking several slaps from Kashmiris, there are at least some Indians who have thought of paying them their dues. My heartiest congratulations to the SSCB team manager, coach and players.
But alas, Congress and rest of the secular brigade would be after you like hell - get ready to face the music!
Anna!! Don't exhibit your foul-mouth here. What Services did was completely wrong. If they had problems, they should informed well in time not pulling at the last minute. They knew that they were slated to play in Srinagar. So they could have brought the matter to the notice of BCCI earlier. This is complete unprofessionalism exhibited by them. The question is not about security problems in J & K but the way Services handled the matter. After all hardly anyone comes to view Ranji ties. So they could have asked for security instead of forfeiting the tie at the eleventh hour. It's just like we prepare for the wedding and everything is ready but on the previous day bridegroom refuses to come for. What we gonna do? Just keep quite and moan? Don't we raise our concern? Services should have informed about their pull our well in advance and not at the last minute.
Tomorrow Home minister is visiting J&K to review the arrangement made for the return of Kashmiri pandits. So if the situation is so bad then why double standards.. services can't play in valley but government wants to send the KPs back. answer why these double speak...double standard.
