Re: CHENNAI ALL THE WAY. RCB loser!

But you gotta stop Hussey too, atleast one of this three will click and win the game for CSK. But Parthivs role is very important. If he can stay till 6 overs , CSK will win the game easily. He can give the start CSK want supporting Hayden.

Good take! But, ff RCB wins, will you both accept defeat gracefully or call it MATCH FIXING? I'm asking this question because a lot of guys in this blog don't seem to support RCB despite their good performance. If RCB wins, they say it is match fixing! why this childish attitude!! Love on cricket is more important than loyalty towards a specific team. Ofcourse, there is nothing wrong in showing loyalty towards a particular team, but show some sportsman spirit. What is your take?

No wont call it match fixing. Will have to accept our defeat , but will be supporting RCB for day afters match , though i hate Bangalore city and their team. This is because I want an Indian captain to lift the IPL atleast this year.

Buddy, that's cool. But just a personal question, why you hate Bangalore so much? I agree, if the reason is because of traffic. Anything else, you may have to rethink. Bangalore is a wonderful place & i think you have not explored it properly. Next time if you happen to come to Bangalore, get in touch with me & i'm sure you will change your mind.

I have the same feeling like yours Mr Srivatsan. If Kumble lifts the IPL cup, it would mean that experienced old horses are still suitable for 20-20 format. This theory will backfire Indian team selection and we might lose the winning streak! I don't wanna see another era of useless Bengluru players dominating Indian team!
chennai have no chance of getting into final... kumble is a much better and intelligent captain than dhobi and rcb players will support him fully... deccans should drop rohit sharma from final... he tried his best today to make viru team win by scoring 5 runs of 15 odd balls as if he was trying to save a test match...

u r a real mad man if he scored only 5 runs there was no need to score quick runs whn they were well ahead n knowing the history of dc anything can happen as u knw very well u people dont knw what is needed n whn jst remove ur jeolousy on the players

son of a gun arvin , you stink. It might be anyones game, but Dhoni is anyday a better captain than Kumble.

Re: CSK Should proceed to Finals
by Srivatsan Muthuswamy on May 23, 2009 10:09 AM
yeah they have never lost a match in a bad manner. And Hussey's presence will win matches for them. CSK rocks!
Final would be between rcb and dc.And winner would be the team who came last, last year. And next year final would be between Mumbai Indians VS KKR because they came last this year.Just see.
I had a sympathy today to the dancing IPL girls! They "oscillate" their mini-skirts for every 4's and 6's. Today, Gilchrist made one of those ladies inner thighs to cramp, since she danced for a long period of time continuously without any abruption :-) How can a man make this with just mental contact?
it was a delight to watch gilchrist tonight, not just him hayden, warne, murali have been great performers for their teams. For some reasons indian seniors just dont deliver when it matters may it be sachin, saurav or rahul..its always a rohit sharma, or yousuf pathan who performs under pressure.if only sachin would perform to his potential mumbai wouldnt have been knocked out for second year in a row.may be indian seniors talent wanes with age in comparison with other teams seniors...

I agree with u but still its not like that buddy ..i got points but its all depends on the day..but ofcourse sachin needs to be more aggressive and play his natural game than being more responsible..he may fail in one or two inning but if he plays his natual game he has potential to take MI to the top..

see their a big difference between us and foreingers(overseas.I am not talking abt only players.See foreingers are more confident than us in pressure situation because they have a different life style. We indians have lot of problems in life than they do have.So in situation like this they are not afraid of loosing than we are.And they are practical and we are emotional. There is a big difference.Even today when i play cricket and when there is a pressure situation lot of things comes in mind.Waht shud i do?shal go for six, singles or others.Think abt it.

to add on to this indians are more bothered about what others would think of them ... there is more fear of failure ... thats the prime reason why Asians are generally not aggressive..
Re: Finals
by jeff on May 23, 2009 01:24 AM
even i think that way dude. Not now from the beginning.I knew it that finals would between dc and rcb.And next year fianls would be between kkr vs mumbai indians.

Finals will be between DC and the winner of CSK and RCB tomorrow. I am unable to predict tomorrow's match :-) But one thing is sure, if CSK wins tomorrow, they will enter to the final. Else, RCB can meet DC! If there is a tie between CSK & RCB or rain with thunderstorm & lightning tomorrow, both can enter into the final and poor DC will struggle with 22 opponents :-)
I am not hurting anybody's feelings here and I don't want to since all are my brothers and sisters of different father and mother!
