KKR won last two matches because of the effort by McCullum. It clearly shows that they lost the match because of McCullams form; it is not because of Ganguly’s captaincy.
Last year, Ganguly was the captaincy and what he did? It did not even make it to the semi. When Bengalese talk, they talk as if they are loosing just because of the captaincy. Yes, McCullum is not a better captain but it does not mean that KKR would have won the matches just because of Ganguly’s captaincy. KKR suffered because McCullam’s poor batting which largely because of the captaincy pressure I think.
Even slow medium fast bawlers like Vinay Kumar of Bangalore knows how to get Ganguly. He peppered him with short ball and next thing you know is that he is back in pavilion.
Look at Kumble.. he said that team should have friendly atmosphere and everyone is captain off the ground. Ganguly can’t create that atmosphere.

Cos they are led by captains who can't lead from the front....throughout the tournament Yuvraj batted like a beginner......even a guy who plays his first Ranji match might show more confidence.....Yuvi was a complete flop show, looking like he will get out any moment..
As far as the little champ is concerned, i think he was pulled down by pressure of expectations and the inability of his team to win tight matches......
So, in case of Punjab, it was captain's poor perforamnce that pulled team down, in case of Sachin, it was pressure of expectations and his team's poorshowing that pulled him down.......
As far as RR are concerned, the pathetic display by Graeme smith and thew flop show by Yousuf Pathan did them in..
As far as KKR are concerned, the less said the better!!

its not that the bowlers are spot on and the batsman is often caught by surprise when balls are bowed long/short its the only way to get them out fielding has been..................any team will desperately want their name to be on that $$ 3 million trophy .....SO!!!!!!!!!!

Bcos Yuvi and Sachin are not captaincy material...they are good performers though.
The guy cannot bat, cannot bowl and cannot field either. He drops lolly catches and does everything which goes against the team. It is amazing as to why this dumbhead is allowed to play. It is a folly to assume that he will come good in future. RCs will definitely lose if this worthless player is a part of the team in the semis. He has enjoyed an inordinately long holiday and should be packed home immediately.

Well said brother. He is not even worth 10% of what he is paid.I donot think going by his present performance (average around 12-13) anybody will sign him next season.
