Bangalore bowlers taken wickets when batsmans are in pressure....no tallent and tricks there.
in CSK, Morkel and Murali giving necesssary break through...
Also, Bangalore batsmans have come to form in the last minute...Local young gus are in form and enthu than experience players...experience player just want to more wins...no effort
Re: Good Match

i think CSK task of facing RCB is not easy as RCB off late has shown tremendous form...and remeber CSK has lost earlier match.
Its good to see that bith these teams are in the top league given their pathetic positions in the last IPL. It goes to show that you need guys to do their jobs professionally. No glamour, no hype, no rubbish theories. Just play good cricket.
Re: Kudos to RCB and DC
by Utthan Palte on May 22, 2009 08:33 AM
what happened to their professionalism in the last IPL. Dont just dream that any south indian team will win IPL2. IPL2 trophy belongs to North India Delhi.

you may not want to say that having seen them in the last couple of matches, huffing and puffing before reaching the target. they are almost like the Indian WC team of 2003 in SA
Re: Kudos to RCB and DC
by kalyanaraman s. on May 22, 2009 09:30 AM
you are absolutely right !
Last year, all that one heard from RCB was how Vijay Mallya brought the best-looking girls to be cheerleaders, how was he hosting visitors and guests in his royal hospitality suites, fireworks for the inaugural ceremony and how he fired Charu Sharma (not that he id anything great) in the middle of the tournament, how he aired his views all the time (like the way he does in his companies)..... if you read the pot-tournament comments/murmurs from the team you would know. they were asked to practice in some so-so ground, because the stadium was to be used for the inaugural function....
Lat year it was Vijay Mallya alland VIjay Mallya only the way ! looks like good sense has dawned on them later part of this year and the results are there to see !!

I'm rooting for Masala Dosa/Bisi Bel Bath/Rava Idli/Rava Dosa. I hope Pongal/Idli Sambhar/Poli/Uthappam loses! hahahahahahahahaaahaaahhhhhhahahahhahahah
The Indian Ashes. Equal to Pak v/s India for people of these 2 states. People of Karnataka and TN will be knowing the tension in the Ranji matches when these 2 teams meet. I feel Kaveri Cup is the good name for this contest.
Re: Chennai V/s Bangalore...... Kaveri Cup!!
by samyakgowda on May 22, 2009 08:09 AM
What tension? It would be as tense as any other franchise. In fact with Chennai, I'd be comfortable knowing that we're not facing a scary line up like Delhi or DC. CSK is much easier in my opinion to beat than DC.
All Matches in IPL are fixed... They are making a fool of people...

Can somebody please explain the top author what is meant by cricket and match fixing... teams are trying hard to win the matches now where the question of match fixing arises?
This guy is lunatic. Please don't reply and just ignore him. He is frustrated soul with disturbed childhood. I know him personally, and was under my treatment. Last few years he has gone bersek and even bite his dog. If he is dead may his soul rest in peace Amin
Yuvi coming at 2down was a bad call. Everyone including Yuvi knows that the whole team will loose its confidence if Yuvi falls....Yuvi had this thought while batting and he couldn't play his natural game and struggled. At one time they needed 90 of 70 balls. They should have sent Pathan as a hitter and even he had contributed 20 runs would have made the difference.
The moment Yuvi struggled to play the whole team lost confidence including the great Sangakara....
As per me Yuvi should have waited and gone at 5thdown...
They could have even tried Brett Lee as 2nd down for hitting some quick runs... T20 is a new game and we need new strategies to win....If you see many people have tried a lot of things while bowling and batting....
Also MI & Punjab lost becos of thr captains...yuvi and sachin are simply not captaincy material. Although they are great contributors with bat...
Re: The reason why punjab lost yesterday...
by Dhosa on May 22, 2009 05:20 AM
Yuvi is not the Greatest and some one that Punjab can't survive without. Punjab basically missed the start by openener and inconsistent batting form of their top 7 bats.. That's about it..
Re: The reason why punjab lost yesterday...
by Matt Hayden on May 22, 2009 03:15 AM
coz of their laid back jingoistic attitude. Yuvraj talks big but is a very poor captain. Brett Lee can focus on his bowling rather than chit chatting with preeti.
Re: Re: Re: The reason why punjab lost yesterday...
by dinesh kapoor on May 22, 2009 03:46 AM
I think Punjab is quite a good team, but the glamour has taken its toll on the game.

they missed the trick initially itself when shaun marsh didn't return this ipl season..their team's good prospect last ipl season he was!!!!!
