Why is it that the PVI of Ganguly is mentioned as 6486 whereas some other players have been mentioned >5000. Does rediff want to highlight just ganguly ? Shame on rediff for degrading Indias Greatest captain...

The PVI of the three players shown as being >5000, is actually in five digits. It would have been more appropriate to write >10000. I personally have great respect for Ganguly's leadership and achievements.

He has played many gr8 innings - like 4 from 14 balls, 1 from 12 balls, 1 from 8 balls etc. Always helps the team in winning - only thing is not his team but the opposition. Gr8 man.
Where r all d dada supporters gone. Why cant u live with the fact that past is past. I am sure u all feel that Laxman should play till he is alive becoz he made 281. Have you observed his body language in the matches. He is absolutely not interested in whats happenin. Being the senior most player, he should be inspirin everyone but he is least bothered. Why?? becoz he is not made the captain. This attitude of Dada stinks!! Why cant he simply play like a team player, the beauty about SRT is that in past 15 years he has always been team player. Be it Dhoni, Dravid, Ganguly, Azhar, Kapil, Srikanth. He never created a fuss, infact all of us can see how he has supported them. But the moment Dada has been removed, he would cry in press and show his displeasure. I seriously feel Dada could have motivated the team and KKR wud have been back but he chose to stay away. He is a selfish cricketer who just wants to constantly prove himself and in the process also is spoilin the team. Have you noticed, that no Indian Player has performed well in KKR team?? all the matches the struggle was done by Hodge, Van Wyk, McCullum, Gayle, Hussey. Infact, all Indians have done is thrown away catches, cant u smell the Dada influence in it. The same thing Greg Chappel had said abt Ganguly in d letter. Yesterday too, 4 runs in 14 balls, i mean give me a break dada, you cant middle a ball!! when McCullum is on fire, All u cud just do is take a single. I feel Dada shud be shown d door by KKR now.

guess what, this is T20 cricket. so have some sense and say he is not playing well in T20 Cricket. Dont say he is unfit for Cricket as cricket is not only T20. Yes, agreed he is not playing well in T20 this year. and only two match he scored 40 and 30 odd and in another match he took two wickets. Which is not much compare to other players. But he is out of cricket for quite some time. Compare that too Sachin, Laxman they are still playing cricket , (recently ocncluded NZL series). And If you are comparing him with Hayden , Glichrist and Shane Warne, please dont do. He should be compared with Indian players. Secondly, how can you come to conclusion that he is having attitude problem etc after not being made captain. Have you Spoken with him? Or just speculating as all the Newspaper columnists do. Please think before you speak.

Nobody needs to tell u such things. Just observe and u will come to know. The day the press conference was held by Buchanan announcin multiple captaincy theory, he came in and his body language said all, still he said he is fine. The next day another interview, he says he is not happy. What does this mean. Before the openin ceremony when McCullum was made captain, ganguly said that he is backin McCullum, when McCullum lost matches and said he wud resign if he doesnt make it to semis. Ganguly says Its his decision what can I say. Is this the way how a senior player shud talk in media. Next, observe him on the field, if he wud be captain, he wud be runnin to bowler and advisin him this and that. But as a player, he doesnt even speak to anyone and roams in the field as if he is just come in the park, dropping catches, misfieldin. I mean, if after this attitude he is still in the team that already shud mean a lot to him. Yesterday, He was strolling in the field and poor McCullum u feel for that guy, who doesnt know Hindi or Bengali and doesnt know how to motivate the other players. Atleast, he cud have helped him but he doesnt care. At least prove the worth of 5 crores u get if not for the love of ur state or city. Come on guys!! Just explain me one thing, why doesnt any coach have any problem with Sachin, Zaheer, Yuvvi, dhoni or Sehwag why always DADA!!

Well Said Buddy, even Buchanan & McCullum had already mentioned that team tactics not so good. ..yes now its middle of the river, u see next ipl season he won,t be GHAR NA GHAT KA, U know even our whole office also talking about him, he's the main culprit to loose all the match in KKR..
he should learn lessons from other infact....BHAR GAYA HAI, BAHUT MASTI HAI...SAR K BAAL GIRRNE LAG GAYE FIRR BHI..............
