NOw everybody is going gaga over McCullum and calling Ganguly names! Why didn't you say the same about McCullum when he was failing in every match? Now he scores in two matches and you forget that he has flopped in ten....wow! It is Phat Bhookha Naan and SRK the chooha who are responsible for this debacle. They should have let Ganguly remain captain so that McCullum can play with no extra load on his shoulders! But by hook or by crook they just wanted to clip Ganguly's wings. SRK even dared to scoff at Gavaskar while defending the 4-captain theory. But everybody forgot that as soon as McCullum was made captain all other 3 captains vanished in thin air! What happened to the lofty theories of Mr. Bhookha Naan? Ganguly broke norms for the sake of building up Indian cricket, but in the process made a whole lot of enemies! Mr. Goody-two-shoes Sachin Tendulkar never tried to change anything so he is in everybody's good books. Sachin is a super player, but his contribution to Indian cricket will end with his retirement. But Ganguly's contribution to Indian cricket will continue to win matches and trophies in the form of the Sehwags and Yuvrajs and Zaheers and Harbhajans! You would do well to remember that!

Even after suche debacle if SRK doesn't replace the whole management (Coach, support staff), then it is sure that he made all his money from the bookies!
Team 1: DD if they lose next 2 matches badly also they were already in the Semis Team 2: CSK if they lose to KXIP badly also which isnever going to happen thanks to their Tight loses and Great Wins with a Highest RR of =0.932 Team 3 & 4 : DC/KXIP/RR
Case 1: KXIP beat CSK the 3rd or 4th team is shold be KXIP nervethless other results
Case 2: DC beat RCB the 3rd should be DC and the 4th Should be in B/W KXIP/RR Whoever wins their Last Match if both wins KXIP comes to Semis
Case 3: RR beat KKR and CSK beat KXIP then they will made along with DC
Case 4: RCB beat both DD and DC which is highly unlike
So whatever Happens DD & CSK are already in the Semis
Re: DD and CSK are already in the Semis
by chelsea on May 19, 2009 03:26 AM
if csk get hammered by punjab and rr crushes kkr, then csk could be eliminated. Highly unlikely though.

NEXT TWO TEAM
1 DELHI 2 CHENNAI POSSIBILITIES
1,IF PANJAB BET CHENNAI PUNJAB IN SEMI 2,BANGALUFR WIN TWO MATCH BANGALURE IN SEMI 3,IF RAJASTHAN BET KALKATTA SAME TIME PUNJAB LOSE AGAINST CHENNAI AND BANGALUDE LOSE ONE MATCH THEN RAJASTHAN IN SEMI 4,IF DECCAN BEAT BANGALURE IN FINAL MATCH DECCAN IN SEMI
CRUCIAL MATCH RAJASTHAN VS KOLKKATTA CHENNAI VS PUNJAB DC VD BANGALURE

Mr senthil please learn maths first. If KXIP wins it will be second.Poor chennai followers including me keep our hopes but dhoni wasted overs 17,18,19.If he could have scored another 10n0r 20 runs results would be different.Dhoni has been wasting runs in the middle order.Balaji does he know how to bowl.if he is still there no hopes for semifinals.Again dont be fool if RCB wins both games chennai will be out which could happen.

If RCB wins both the Match, DC will be out. Only if CSK loses badly .. they are Out .. lets keep our fingers crossed

Shame on u mate..... Even i am from chennai..... There is nothin to be sad about our defeat in IPL... And howz even 'prabhak' related to tamils.... was he our chief minister r was he a freedom fighter....?
Re: Re: KKR performed well
by Selvarajan Natarajan on May 19, 2009 01:32 AM
yeah you got that...he was a true freedom fighter, who fought all his life for the tamil cause... He wanted a country for tamils...because of people like you he couldnt achieve...
Re: Re: Re: KKR performed well
by Pramit Sengupta on May 19, 2009 01:49 AM
and what great would happen to us (Indians),, if there was a country for Tamils in the northern part of Sri Lanka? Why are you so worried about a Tamil cause in a different country, just because they speak your language. I speak Bengali, I am aboslutely not worried about Bangladesh. Just because they speak my language doesnot mean I have to worry about them. On top of that I kind of do not like them because every day thousands of Bangladeshis are entering Bengal just to add more refugee in that state. I would have worried more about a minority being killed/tortured in India than the condition of Bengalees in Bangladesh. What if there were a Tamil state in Sri Lanka. What good that would bring to us(Indians) - explain...
Re: Re: Re: KKR performed well
by vimalan sadhasivam on May 19, 2009 03:06 AM
and he killed 70000 people along the way including his own tamil brothers.. what a freedom fighter..truly we should bow to him
if team like kkr who r sure losers' team wins then its a fishy situation. any1 can guess how they won? when nobody expected kkr to win, kkr wins it!!! modi trying to fool ind public.

they have been losing 6 matches in the final over....there had to be some day they would win....it just proves they are a good team but had lost the knack of winning after off field controversies and pressures,.....

by satyaki basu on May 19, 2009 01:37 AM
@Virat V KKR=sure losers...don't know how you came to this conclusion...quite a few matches they lost had gone down to the wire...also matches where guys like GAyle, Mcullum, Hodge fires, KKR cn definitely match the rest.
Re: Oram Ignored
by chelsea on May 19, 2009 12:41 AM
pacers were getting smashed. Dhoni should have utilized some other spinner. I think he made a mistake using murali. Should have kept him for 19th over. Not easy to hit spinners especially someone like murali. In any case, kkr was long due a win. It hadn't happened last couple of matches and it happened now.
Time and again, we see chennai superkings bowlers have been plundered for runs . Balaji,Tyagi should opt themself out before team selection stating they are incompetent. What is their contribution in Team's victory ?? even a score near 200 is not enough for such lacklustre bowlling ... Poor dhoni has no options on the bowling front ....

Apart from Ganguly , SRK should also kick out himself. He's big sucker and wants to convert Cricket Pitch in to enunch;s paradise.

thats absolutely right...if he had been there, he would have wasted balls before getting out at a crucial juncture leaving the side in tatters..luckily for kkr it didn't happen

sachins spine has carried more responsibility than any others in the indian team. we indians know that very well & the ones who have seen them perform.
I have seen him on 2001 playing Chennai leagues , he was very quick and threating bowler , finally i see TamilNadu producing a very good fast bowler. Now definetely he is not the same bowler , he is lost somewhere. In 2002-3 he changed his action like Srinath and lost his pace, later the year he debuted against WI and hammered by Hinds, some patchy bowling again NZ and good spells with Pakistan then injuries setback for 2 years. He did fought back and cameback like phoenix but now also keep changing his bowling stroke..now trying to immitate Brett Lee's stroke.ReModeling his action keeps his injury free but he definetely last his stock balls.
He may be a ranji's lead wicket taker but he looks very mediocore. One more superb spell from him today, i think he is also the part of the Buchnaan's plan.He gifted the last IPL to Warne and now i think he costed the CSK semifinal spot.

u are right. but csk already in semi's. as they loose against kings also they are with 15 point and better runrate.and rajasthan wins last match also they dont have better run rate. and other teams are delhi, kings. fight between deccan and RCB i.e last ipl match is like quarter final.if rcb wins against delhi
