I am really unable 2 understand the Logic behind Chennai's Loss with Knight Riders. What a bad bowling by L.Balaji which has paved way to Knight riders Win.
It's been a regular practice for Balaji 2 give too many runs at the crucial matches.
If the Chennai Team is interested 2 lift the IPL Trophy they need 2 look out for a new seam bowler rather continuing with L.Balaji who is worst of all times.
His actions/Rhythm & Laziness are his weakness & disadvantages for him 2 come into the Indian Team. His chapter is closed once for all in Indian Team.
The team should omit Balaji for future matches to go strong with other teams.

Balaji,is the worst fast bowler India can ever produce, I would re-count listless matches where his bowling been belted all over the park.Right from his debut against west indies, Balaji has been absolute rubbish and stupid. The balls he bowled on penultimate over is rubbish to the core, even a kid who is attending cricket camp wont bowl such juicy balls. Anyhow i stronly believe. Balaji's career in both IPL and international cricket is far from over.

when he is hit for runs he is worst and rubbish and when he takes wickets, he is fine and you say what a fantastic bowler. This is dual policy of yours which cannot be digested. This is bound to happen T20 matches - given a particular day any bowler is hit for runs to the extent of 28 runs.In some cases, the bowler takes hat-tricks. That's why this game is called T20.

Well sir,, agree with you totally, Can u recount all the mathces Bala has played. Since 2003 in Australia, when he was not able to defend 12 runs of last over(bret Lee smashed him). He is totally uncapable of defending runs in final overs(then what you call a bowler fit to be). Balaji can be good if he is given overs between 8 to 15. After which he has shown time and again he is not capable of defending any score. When Kamran Khan can defend 8 Runs, Munaf can defend 4 runs, Irfan can defend 11 runs. Balaji has lost in two matches 10 runs againgst DC and now against KKR. If a bowler fails again and again on defending scores and doesnt perform under pressure, what do you call him as. Will u say it happens and thats cricket? sorry I disagree.
murali just stood there(concrete shoes) and jumped at the ball while any school level player would take two steps forward to catch the ball and then raina stood watching how dhoni throws underarm straight to the wicket. if this isnt fixing what is??

This's not fixing dude but this is madness or you can say very very poor fielding by these two. Murli was just frustated, though! The was gone for the last ball, then how can you say it's fix? It could go anywhere. Be positive dude, it's T20 on its full roll. Forget about match fixing and enjoy it. More besides, everyone want to lift the cup. There's not only money but pride also involes in it.

shyam,
chennai had already reached semis.
for your knowledge i will be brief here.
already kkr, MI are out. then next two teams can not enter semis.
third is rajasthan royals who already played 13 matches and standing with 13points. even if they win against kkr last match they can not go over csk due to run rate.
then fourth position there is a chance for bangalore, hyderabad & punjab
hyderabad won against bangalore they may enter semis atthe same time bangalore will be out, even if u consider they win last match they could end with 14 points.
then both teams could not go over csk. hence it is already reaches semis.
since beginnin i have been watching chennai could win because of batting support only. bowling side too weak. they must consider ntini instead of oram who is nothing did through out the tournament. i hope ntini inclusino will make chennai bowling will be formidable.

L.Balaji's worst performance is Chennai's Loss 2 enter Semi's in IPL.
Kick out Balaji from all sorts.
He's fit 2 play only in Ranji's not at International Level.
His bowling R totally out after the injury happened 2 him.
As dhoni rightly said good fielding is essential & that's also one most important thing 2 win matches. Mind U already this is the weakest bolwing Chennai has got.
1,IF PANJAB BET CHENNAI PUNJAB IN SEMI 2,BANGALUFR WIN TWO MATCH BANGALURE IN SEMI 3,IF RAJASTHAN BET KALKATTA SAME TIME PUNJAB LOSE AGAINST CHENNAI AND BANGALUDE LOSE ONE MATCH THEN RAJASTHAN IN SEMI 4,IF DECCAN BEAT BANGALURE IN FINAL MATCH DECCAN IN SEMI
CRUCIAL MATCH RAJASTHAN VS KOLKKATTA CHENNAI VS PUNJAB DC VD BANGALURE

Dude..don't count on Chennai so much; See, if Punjab beat Chennai then Punjab will have 16 points, 1 more compaire to Chennai. If Banglore wons its remainign two matches they will end on 16. ..and if Deccan wins their last match they too will have 16 points! So then the last four will be Delhi, Punjab, Banglore and Deccan. ;) Punjab and Chennai will feel the heat when they meet on Wednesday!
Re: Re: NEXT TWO TEAM
by naveen dhanerwal on May 19, 2009 09:10 AM
My mistake...Banglore and Deccan can't win their all matches as they have a match with one another. :(
Re: Re: Re: NEXT TWO TEAM
by naveen dhanerwal on May 19, 2009 09:13 AM
..that means they are through! Because if they ends up a tie with RR, their nt run rate is lot better then RR.
Re: Re: Re: Re: NEXT TWO TEAM

Chennai is already through...Even if they lose to punjab...It is like this...Punjab will end up with 16 points and if deccan beat blr and then they will be through and blr will be out if it is other way around and if blr wins both the matches then they will be through and deccan will be out.RR if it wins against KKR also they will be out since they will be tied with chennai and head to head will be considered and chennai will be through on that account...so it will be like this if punjab wins...Delhi,punjab,BLR/Hyd, chennai will be last....if punjab loses it will be replaced by RR
