Old is Gold.....
by arvi unite on May 09, 2009 12:15 PM  | Hide replies

Earlier at the beginning of the IPL..some oldies likes of Sachin, Rahul,Kumble,Sanath,Gibbs,Gayle.. etc were making most of it and media used to say that...whether T20 is youngster's game or its for oldies...but after the first half of it..is clear its not for oldies....may be the adopting in these condition and getting momentum earlier was the issues with the youngster...but now they outplayed oldies in every department ( Exception : Hayden and Gilly ) it was good decision by Master to not take parts in upcoming T20 world cup...may be he knows it from start...

WHAT ABOUT KUMBLE, GAYLE, KALLIS...LAST YEAR IT WAS SANATH, WARNE, POLLOCK.. DUDE IT IS CLASS AND SKILLS WHICH MATTERS...NOT OLD OR YOUNG..

then Rahul dravid the most Skilled and having a gr8 Class would be the IPL topper...dude...t20 needs something extra than SKILL and CLASS....isn't it?

leadership is....
by tendusach on May 09, 2009 11:55 AM  | Hide replies

Captaincy is Shane warne..who turned a mediocre team in to IPL winners...

Captaincy is sourav..who build a team from scratch and got them to WCfinal2003...

Captaincy is Steve Waugh to build a team and win WC99....

Captaincy is not Dravid who was given a well built team and still was a failure...

Captaincy is not Ponting who got great team so no surprising if they win....

Captaincy is Dhoni who got t20 WC...

Key captaincy comes when you get mediocre team and you make them play together...

Captain needs to make other deliver not he try to deliver everything by his own...

Leadership is motivating...
Leadership is believing in team members...
Leadership is supporting a player who is down in confidence...
Captaincy is not Laxman...

Leadership is keeping cool and holding nerves....

Leadership is not getting animated when a 4 or 6 is hit....
