All are..
First they play for self, then for team / country.
Nothing abnormal. All do the same.

sachin in 20-20
by saurabh chaturvedi on May 09, 2009 01:20 PM

sachin is perhaps the greatest player this world has seen. however, when it comes to 20-20, the story is different. his ability as a captain still remains doubtfull. in this ipl, he has made some bowling changes which have been pathetic leading to losses. also his batting is not showing the magic and ultimately has led to mumbai indians downfall in ipl 2009.

SREESANTH - AN OVER-RATED BOWLER.
by Junior Shelly on May 09, 2009 01:02 PM  | Hide replies

HAYDEN HAS TAKEN A DIG AT SREESANTH WHO VERBALLY ABUSED THE BIG MAN AFTER TAKING A POUNDING FROM HIM. INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT, HAYDEN IS A MEMBER OF THE TEAM LED BY INDIAN CAPTAIN DHONI. HIS COMMENTS THAT SREESANTH IS AN OVER-RATED BOWLER AND HE TEND TO LOOSE HIS COOL UNDER PRESSURE MAKING HIM EASY TARGET SEEMS TO BE INDICATING ENOUGH WHERE SREESANTH'S CAREER AS FAR AS INTERNATIONAL CRICKET IS CONCERNED-IS HEADING.
POOR CHAP, HE IS NOT LEARNING FROM HIS MISTAKES. IAN CHAPPEL RIGHTLY PREDICTED - SREESANTH IS A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN. sREE HAS PROVEN CHAPPEL RIGHT YET AGAIN.

Mumbai not jelling as a team.
by Manu Zach on May 09, 2009 12:55 PM  | Hide replies

The problem with Mumbai Indians seems to be that of not coming together as a team. They have brilliant senior players in Sachin and Sanath, but neither of them seem to be inspiring the fellow players to perform. Sachin was an utter failure with the India team when he was the captain. Why he was made the captain of the team remains a mystery.May be ego is one big factor. The fact is that there is no one in the team who can be inspirational as a leader like Warne for Rajasthan or Gilchrist for Hyderabad. Harbhajan seems to have lost interest in the game, while Bravo and Duminy are living in their own little space. Pinal Shah is a horrible batsman and why he is still in the team when Luke Ronchi who is a proven wicket keeper batsman is warming the bench.

Imagine been in the captian's shoes how sachin must have felt when his middle order just threw their wickets when most needed times.
he can just inspire but is rather helpless in such situation
