Ipl spends a lot of money to entetain the public, teams organise cheer girls to dance everytime their team hits a boundry or sixer.However the TV coverage dwells in details of the finer points of the shot but we the audience never get to see the full dance of the lovely girls.After all it is a real entertainment.

They should have two telecasts. One will be the regular one, the other will be fully focussed only the Cheer girls, and ocassionally when there is a four or a six, they should show that shot, and again back to focussing on the Cheer girls. Paisa Vasool - you will get more TV Ads for this than the regular telecast.
Most of the SriLankan bowlers are chuckers - Murali , Malinga, etc. They survived in World Cricket just because they belong to the Asian Lobby. Now, with IPL, they have increased the Fan base. But at end of the day these are chuckers and twist their wrists as their governing bodies twists rules.

You are dead right. In case you look at Brett Lee's earlier action, you will also find that he used to chuck the ball. Add Shoiab Akhtar to the list. You are right influence backed up by money speaks

Fully Agree. I was just pointing out one of the many bad effects of IPL - legalising chucking. Ofcourse, there are more severe ones.

to avoid controversy they instructed cricket experts not to comment on KAMRAN KHAN's bowlinG action.But once the IPL gets over they will deliberately put him under the scanner and thereby put his career in danger!!!!!!
Teams Win Every team is getting more than enough money from there sponsorship deals and other rights. Even the team finishing last dont have to worry as they wont be demoted. They can have a go next year. As the number of teams are less the shared profit will also be good.
People Win I have some friends who watches every game and supports 3 to 4 teams, Just to win.
Players win I have heard and read that players are getting huge amounts as salary. And most of players have a chance to win something.
What a competition, everyone wins.
I am so happy that I am in losing side. What an embarrassment to the society.
