BCCI is explotiting its power
by Abu Fateh on Apr 01, 2009 12:31 AM  | Hide replies

Now that the tournament has been shifted to South Africa from India; the threat has been nuetralised . Inspite of that Pakistani players are not allowed to play . BCCI is using its financial clout to control ICC such that they do not allow any Pakistani to play

Plan to make Ricky Ponting as captain of KKR.???????????????
by SachinTheGreat on Apr 01, 2009 12:27 AM  | Hide replies

If u analyze preperly is it Jhon Buchanan and SRK plan of making Ricky Ponting as KKR captain.

Rciky Ponting is currently not available completly for KKR, So there is a definete chance that Jhon Buchanna wants to make Ricky Ponting as the premanent captain of KKR or maybe some other Australian player.

This maybe a stratergy to sideline Saurav Ganguly completly :-)

Dada is doing eveything to retain his career-Captain and hence more ad sponsorhips and hence more money. Now SRK-as team owner will need to see the team winning and hence will depend more on the Coach. So to make all sides happy, he will retain Saurav but will ask him to also listen to the coach-which is a corporate rule. IPL/ICP are corporations depending on profit for shareholders, so other rules do not apply. Now SRK can search for another DADA [maybe 3-4 dadas] from CCU and make them heros and keep them shuffling before anyone get a hold on the team and the public.

How does this sound?
I have no grudge against Saurav-in fact he is barely 2km from my ancesterial home in Behala[Calcutta], but I don't like the politics. I like fairness of a game targeted to win and get dissolved in unfair influence when quality goes down.

Bengalis are a big population like Punjabis[maybe more]-they belong to both india and outside india-even in india multiple states has big population. So bengalis & punjabis do not think alike [as i see it]. Now some folks from CCU -especially supporters may come up with revolutionary ideas-thats good for saurav... but don't mix up-Mamata [who kicked out Tata for God know why] and many other who hopes to see development... Hey EVen Naxal movement was started Naxalbari in Bengal. So think with level head.

Being a bengali, and knowing their sentiments a little bit better than most of the writers here, I can forsee that SRK may have to move his KKR to B'desh, and there he can be assured good return on his investment. Other option could be Orissa, but there he may not be making enough $ for his investment. I will not be surprised if Dada is kicked out as per the plan of Buchanan, bengali Sena may not allow KKR to play in Kolkata, even CAB may chip in to prevent KKR to play there. SRK should have waited little longer until Dada opt to run for MP with the support of CPM/ FB.

It appears to me SRK is acting as naive person to promote his business in Kolkata. He only cares about the business aspect of KKR, and that is why he got Mortaza for an unimaginable dear price. But by getting he got the heart of B'desh and ensures his movie business there, and he may do some exhibition matches there to reap the benefit. Buchanan on the other hand is showing his shrewdness by making Dada powerless knowing fully well that for any one it is difficult to refuse such generous contract from KKR. Basically Dada like many others are all sold the the franchisee, and that is the business of IPL. Dada has to swallow it,at the sacrifice of his pride; but who cares of the pride when the $ is great.

if u don't understand the concept of multiple captaincy, then keep quiet...and btw srk is just the owner...most decisions are taken collectively by the cricketing management of the Knight Riders...its just like producing movies where SRK mostly finances them and takes care everything is alright..the rest of the technical stuff is handled by the directors and story writers,....if u don't know the concept of management...just keep quiet.

Actually this is a blind by SRK to make Shoaib Akhtar as captain of KKR, This theory of multiple captains looks foolish enough, Even though we may think this might be a publicity stunt but the fact is it is a plan top make a Pakistani as captain of KKR.

How many local players, Maybe 47, How many got chance to play only 5-6, Even if 1 Kolkatta player is rotated in every match, Potentially 15-20 Kolkatta players would have got a chance.

Now ur sayin only 5-6 that means only 9% of local players got a chance.

Whereas all 5 Pakistani playr played, all Australian players played and all remaining foreign players played, So who is fool now :-)
