jaffer long innings capacity
by Fakruddin on Mar 28, 2009 04:08 PM

jaffer long innings capacity is needed for test match batting to win or draw
sehwag, gambhir, yuvraj are fast players not having much brain and courage
jaffer and vijay forming good openers for india
irfan for yuvaraj is good selection with irfan wicket taking capacity and breaking partnership also with good batting capacity also

MS DHoni missing.?????????????
by SachinTheGreat on Mar 28, 2009 04:01 PM  | Hide replies

Those who are sayin that India is in losin position coz MS Dhoni is not playin in this test match then they have to look at the results of 2 T20 matches played against New Zealand where they won it 2-0.

Was MS Dhoni playin in them, Then how come we lost those 2 matches which MS DHoni captained as well as played, Surprising isnt it.????????

How many runs did MS DHoni score in T20 world cup, Who was highest scorer for India in T20 world cup, Well the answer is Gautham Gambhir who scored 227 runs 2nd only to Mathew Hayden who scored 245 runs.

How many runs did MS DHoni score in T20 world cup finals, Answer is 9, Then who was top scorer, Answer is Gautham Gambhir who scored 75 runs against Pakistan in the finals :-)

Dhoni is neither the greatest wicket keeper nor the greatest of the batsmen (his no. 1 position in ODI ranking notwithstanding). He is only a good leader of men, has shrewed cricketing brain and has the acumen required to win matches. A large number of pearls do not make a 'mala'. It is the thread that passes through each one of them that makes one. Like Dhoni, Mike Brearly and G.S. Ramchand were not very great performers with bat/ball. Bit each one of them was a match winning captain. Dhoni's record speaks for itself. Any doubts? And dear Sachin, I apologise for touching your raw nerve. But truth is often bitter.

in two innings in nz he looks in his touch.........

i am sure he will spend some time in the middle and score good runs......

as usual his strike rate will be around 40 but that dosn't matter......

How come strike rate of Rahul Dravid doesnt matter but strike arte of Sachin Tendulkar matters even if his strike arte in ODi's is 89.:-)

Double standards:-)

why
by bitu singh on Mar 28, 2009 03:52 PM

Why are we all fighting.See the fact is that indian cricket is waste of money. The fact is that all play for records and advt money.Take case of Yuvraj is he fit for test match ,Rohit Sharma is he fit for one day,Irfan not fit for any game,Any indian bowler fit to be called bowler if doesnt have weapon like yorker ,slower one and bouncer.Best fielder yuvi how many catches he dropped and tell is there any indian fields man who can throw at stumps regularly look at poiting and gibbs. Now come to wicket keeping Dhoni drop catches he is captain leading by example. Is there any palyer who got fighting spirit i think people remember all the time Rahul n Laxman partnership and odd one out in one day i think seen kaif. All are welcome to speak records dont matters its wining that matter that for nation. They write about sachin records. He got ferrari he paid any taxes.I am not againt cricket but love to see player who are pro n all this armateur learn from Abhinav bindra,Saina Nehwal, and akhil and jitentra what the sports n nation means to them. How we treat out shooting coach he resigned coz he want respect not leaving the job for money.Same hapnd to Ric chalesworth he is no Aussies men hockey coach .Indian team visited there but never comes near to beat them.Gary kirsten doing gud job people are saying what he is doing apllying psychology what rudy webster does when india is in australia for 2004 series.(hope im not wrong) nothing new visible in team india.WE in india have miles to go.
