Just show them your dark nasty balls. They will fear to come around you next time, let alone passing any comments...

Hope this helps.

performance of the day was by yuvraj singh. if it wasnt for him, NZL wouldve been all out for 200, and India wouldve already been in the lead today.

indian attitude
by Ajai Jacob on Mar 26, 2009 01:39 PM

The typical Indian heart is very big!We win a few matches and let the other team win the rest!(in true sportsman spirit?) We will never win matches continuously like the australians or south africans.
Records in consecutive match wins:
1.australia-21
2.south africa-19
3.india-9
As is evident, there is a huge difference between the world's no.1&2 teams and us.Hence the chances of us bridging the gap and becoming no.1 or 2 is very little.

Mystery test
by Kumar Chakraborthy on Mar 26, 2009 01:37 PM  | Hide replies

The 2nd test started on a very mystery not for India with Dhoni sitting out. There was no news of him being injured earlier. All of a sudden it happenened early morning. Most Indians would have been shocked to see Viru coming out for the toss.
Again after N.Z were 27 for 3 the Indians seemed not interested in rippiong thru aprat the NZ batting. There were signs of head going down, lack of interest, going thru the motions etc.
All these are not clear pictures. Something mystery has happenened. What's that?

If Indian goes down to NZ in this test there will be lot of talks Dhoni sitting out. Now it up to the Batsman to save the match for India. Bowlers have failed miserably. Sreeshanth should be included in the team immediately. His fire power is clearly missing in the Indian Dressing room.

One picture is very clear i.e. without Dhoni Indians are babes. All credit goes to Dhoni for India playing as a champion team before this Test Match. In this Test Match Indians are the same team as we knew them earlier playing for losing under Kumble,Ganguly etc.

The test match has only started,it is not over, there are four more days of play. You cannot say our players as babes just because some kiwi batsmen got a few runs.It is cricket .All the players are really good, the kiwis played good cricket today, but that does not make our players bad. We will have to watch them play. As for injury to Dhoni, injuries dont happen in advance ,they can happen anytime, and Dhoni is a player who wouldnt miss action for some silly reason.
As for Sreeshanth,he himself told that he is not fully fit and is recovering, morover nobody would like to see harbhajan and sreeshnath in the same playing eleven.
1.It spoils the team morale
2.Harbhajan is definately more valuable then Sreeshanth at the moment.
Dhoni is a good leader. But leaders dont win matches, players and team effort contribute to success and i am sure that is present in abundance.Seeing one day of the test match and comparing with all other previous matches is very bad.My wishes are always there for the Indian cricket team and I am sure they will get back with the series trophy

Patent
by Crick fan on Mar 26, 2009 01:36 PM  | Hide replies

Yuvraj has patent right to drop a catch every match. Last match he dropped Vetory and today he dropped Taylor.
Could have been good if we had leg spinner playing instead of yuvraj. Still he styles around like a champion.

FIELDING
by sachin on Mar 26, 2009 01:08 PM  | Hide replies

Fielding has always our weak point. Lost many Tests due to substandard fielding. What is Robin singh doing. At this level, with crores being showered, to the players and support staff this standard of fileding is unacceptable. Body language, anticipation, positive attitude are signs of a good fielding side like Aus. & SA. If we have to be no. 1 fielding dept. must be upto next level or else keep dreaming about No. 1.

In this 2nd test match, India will have to score a lot of runs to avoid follow-on itself.. now sachin will show how he betrays when runs are necessary. He will bail out his wicket quickly and laugh sitting at the dressing room

You are right. All of the Indian players should perform. Its not a individual game, wrong to attack sachin. Just go and play one delivery of a fast bowler, you will never know when the ball flew over your crease

well said.
South africa was banned so many years from playing for racism, yet they rose out of it like a phoenix. Why?Because they showed the world how to field fantastically.Indians always depended solely on their batting strength and neglected other deptts of the game paying a heavy price.Otherwise,India should have been at least no.2 long back. After all,India is the largest cricketing nation in the world. There is no other country in the world who are mad about cricket the way we do.

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH MANU_ZACH. TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A CAPTAIN IN CRICKET, ONE SHOULD EITHER BE AN IDIOT LIKE DHONI, OR A MASTER TACTICIAN LIKE STEVE WAUGH / PONTING / RANATUNGA.
SEHWAG IS NONE OF THESE.
