Kangress Vs. NCP: Sonnia's Kangress wins, INDIA loses Pak smiles
by Cool ChandraThakur on Mar 25, 2009 01:53 AM

Pak would be laughing like crazy :(

Sonniaji hit a last ball SIX (First approving the changed schedule of IPL, then at last moment refusing security via her Kangress govt in Maharashtra & AP)

This is all politics. IPL promised to hold the matches only on non-election days (2 days after election). So actually the paramilitary forces would have already been present & deployed & well-rested. No need to transport them from their base.
But, BCCI is headed by Sharad Pawar of NCP, so Congress was always trying to pull the rug under his feet.
After Kangress came to power in Rajasthan, Lalit Modi lost the BCCI election.

Now Maharashtra & AP (both ruled by Kangress) at last minute went back on promise to provide security & so IPL is kicked out of India.

The message that goes out is India cant host International games (just like Pakistan) coz its not safe.

So in the match between Kangress & NCP:
Losing Captain: Sharad Pawar
Man-of-match: SONNIA MADDAM for her last ball Sixer. (First approving the changed schedule of IPL, then at last moment refusing security via her Kangress govt in Maharashtra & AP)

But the real loser: INDIA
Only happy spectator: PAK

India ??
by B Lal on Mar 25, 2009 01:00 AM

The public of the Republic of India are responsible for all these mess. They are so crazy that they neither able to choose their right leader nor to respect the national heroes (from any field). Indians are becoming socially impotent as a nationhood. A large portion of the people of India are not mature enough to handle democracy.

Did IPL v/s ICL made easy for Indian team to win matches overseas
by My View on Mar 25, 2009 12:47 AM  | Hide replies

Think about this... if New Zealand had an option to use players who are part of ICL to play in the current India-NZ series, what would have been the result?

sadly the bcci are donkeyholes to block icl players of some other country. the wretchedness knows no bounds for commercial gains. for this reason alone, i'd like to see ipl 2 bomb.

which one matters !!
by B Lal on Mar 25, 2009 12:38 AM

Imagine that the plane carrying the Indian Cricket team crashed and nobody survived. Does it make any difference to India ??
Imagine a bomb explodes during a joint session of the parliament. Does it make any difference to India ??
Somebody will certainly argue that the second instance will benefit as some of the "dirty politicians" will be eradicated. Who authorizes the "dirty politicians" to rule us ?? It's we, all Indians, are responsible for our fate.

Pray for both ... this will be an eye opener for the Indians.

National Priorities should be respected
by Guest on Mar 25, 2009 12:34 AM

Let's respect national priority, IPL is just a way to fill BCCI's coffins, thanks to ICC that they have just a month Apr-May left free in their FTP Program, otherwise god knows BCCI would have planned IPL every quarter to color their balance sheet. BCC(I) is slowly becoming BCC(SP & Co) in their attitude, one needs to introspect does BCCI really represent India especially after the NZ media's "Travelling Goon" comment on Niranjan Shah where he went to the extent of pulling out Ravi Shastri from commentator's box using his so called p(a)wers just because the other commentator had earlier commentated in ICL matches, and he allowed Mr. Shastri to commentate the match only after the Telivision channel pulled out the other commentator.

IPL NOT IMPORTANT.
by Manu Zach on Mar 24, 2009 11:39 PM  | Hide replies

IF IPL WAS OF ANY IMPORTANCE TO PLAYERS OR CRICKET ADMINISTRATORS AROUND THE WORLD, THEY WOULD HAVE RE-ARRANGED THE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET CALENDAR TO CONDUCT THE LEAGUE AT SOME OTHER TIME THIS YEAR. BUT THEY DIDN'T. THIS MEANS THERE IS NO NEED TO GIVE IMPORTANCE TO THE IPL ALONGSIDE THE GENERAL ELECTIONS.

Govt failed another security test.

We missed benefits of everyone by denying the glow in the recessionary economy which wud hv bn flared by few thousand crores. Many small people wud hv also got some earning as temporary employment/contracts. Those who are seating on money wud hv brought some currencies in the system. Do not criticise IPL becasue some rich people are going to make money. When money circulate in the economy it benefits everyone be it common men or rich men.

Of course, election is of paramount importance but any event uniting the nation on one theme also encourages certain values, spirits, entertainment to rejuvenate and IPL is definitely going to enage people in some activity which is better than sitting idle during summer vacations for children who are not part of electioneering. Why can't the EC use this platform of IPL to send message to people to come out for voting and right voting? Think positive from this IPL.
Now think about the adverse impact of exporting IPL to other country. The economy of other country will share from Indian event. The message of our incapacity to organize IPL will also send wrong signals to the World. India will be equated with unsafe country like Pakistan.

Think, If Govt could have managed both election and IPL with balance. Success of the both would have created the Super Power Image of Indian in the World.
Indians, be positive and choose your Govt which prioritise India's interest and national pride on top.
