by New Blogger on Mar 23, 2009 09:48 AM

Elections are of higher priority to the nation than a game... Modi and gang wants to hold the country ransom to these events.. The telecast of this event should be banned in the country

Guys first of all cricket is not a pride game from India. It has originate in England, Its mecca in england so don't be over reacte. If there will be no elction period then Government surely allow IPL in India. It's the correct decision made by Government. IPL framncise doesn't care about security, why they themsalves serves as security guard. It will put lots of pressure on security forces, are they not human being. It gives some relaxation for them. Elaction is much imporatant than IPL whether you people support it or not. We should support for this. Its the problem of those francises who invest money in that. You want to see cricket, here it happens, So stop connecting a borrowed game to nation pride.

Are you mad? IPL is led by Sharad Pawar of NCP, as he also heads BCCI, wand NCP is an ally of the Congress government. So the evil Congress will do anything to keep Sharad Pawar in good humour and keep black money flowing into his already overstuffed Swiss bank account. This fiasco only proves how inept the Congress is in handling the matters of the country. Vote out the Congress if you want India to suvive. Such a huge country, and the governemtn pleads that it cannot provide security to the IPL during elections!!!! Why do the useless corrupt Central Government ministers need security? These security men should be tasked with providing security to the IPL. We do not want the corrupt and inept Congressis to waste taxpayers money on their own security.

It is not a question of some game. It is the question of our ability to meet the challenges of terrorists head-on.

When we have a great minority affairs minister who was all praise for his jihadi brothers from across the border, what should we expect? If any Minister in China had justified the terrorists like Antulay, he would have faced the firing squad the next day.

by sanjay on Mar 23, 2009 09:45 AM  | Hide replies

Why Congress Chiddu did not want IPL in election season?

1) Nobody will attend rallies
2) Nobody listen to their boaring speeches.
3) Journos will go to matches
4) Nobody will see leaders faces on TV.
5) So lessexposure.

and last cricket (IPL) unites India whereas these leaders devide India.
