GREED
by Ajith Kumar on Mar 23, 2009 10:47 AM  | Hide replies

The Decision by BCCI is out of PURE UNDILUTED GREED AND ARROGANCE.IF BCCI cannot accept the fact that the primary importance for the Government in a General Election is to ensure a
trouble free polling and preventing murders/abduction etc. When the security forces
are to be deployed all over the country for this purpose NO ONE should force the Government
to dilute the prepareness by diverting the security personnel for the "GAMES" from which
BCCI is dreaming to rake in Billions.IF BCCI
cannot accept the reality WE,the CITIZENS should understand the decision of the Home Ministry. The current Home Minister-unlike his
prececessor- is more serious about the task the
Government is taking on and ALL Indians should
support him.IT IS PURE GREED AND ARROGANCE
BCCI has taken this decision. They have been
bullying every one for quite some time with their financial clout and it is high time they
KNOW that there are more serious issues the
Government has to take up.

What more serious are there for the Congress party? They could not do anything to their great minority affairs miniser, Janab Abdul Rehman Antulay who was all praise for the courage of his jihadi brothers from across the border. If any Minister in China had uttered such words, he would have faced the firing squad the next day.

Everybody should understand that India is a poor country. Still a large portion of the population is subject to starvation. Should we justify this type of expenditure?

MONEY OR CRICKET ??
by Vinu Mon on Mar 23, 2009 10:38 AM Permalink | Hide replies

I doubt BCCI stands for Cricket or Money ??

Check any big democracies, when general election is going on, no other major events can be conducted.

It was BCCI's utter foolishness that they scheduled this event during election time.

It is very clear that we can not give security, that is the reason we are conducting the election in 5-6 phases. above that how govt can give security for IPL, after the pakistan shoot out !

It is political game planned by BCCI. BCCI should dissolved after this drama. An association above the govt control should not control indian players.

Shifting of the venue has got nothing to do with Security. It is due to tussle between Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra CM, Mr. Chavan. Today's Mumbai Mirror has reported this ugly spat over two Lok Sabha seats.

DESH DROHI Congress
by Anil Kumar on Mar 23, 2009 10:37 AM

Congress wants to make India another PAKISTAN by declaring they are unable to provide security to cricketers who visits india.

Then no foreginer will come to india for tourisam, becase congress cannot provide security. That means these italians want to make this country into another pakistan, where one would not dare to enter the country.

Its high time we teach lesson to this DESH DROHI congress party. If any on evotes for CONGRESS is a DESH DROHI..THATS IT!!

Why Congress Chiddu did not want IPL in election season?
by sanjay on Mar 23, 2009 10:33 AM

Why Congress Chiddu did not want IPL in election season?

1) Nobody will attend rallies
2) Nobody listen to their boaring speeches.
3) Journos will go to matches
4) Nobody will see leaders faces on TV.
5) So less exposure.

and last cricket (IPL) unites India whereas these leaders devide India.

And at a venue a single day match and election may collide that could have been avoided. They could not have been played on voting day there. Why no matches on entire period?

BCCI Should be dissolved
by Vinu Mon on Mar 23, 2009 10:25 AM  | Hide replies

BCCI is acting as a super power now.

BCCI should be resolved and a govt approved association should take charge of indian cricket.

All the sports associations should be under the control of Indian Govt. Who ever violating this should be removed. What BCCI done now is a insult to indian govt. and thereby the indian people as we have democratic govt.

Hope Mr. Chidambaram will do necessary for this effect.

I request indians to boycott IPL, as they aiming for huge money on advertisement sacrifising our National pride
