Pawar & Shah: BCCI goondas
by Bodh Ramdeo on Aug 04, 2009 09:11 PM

ICL should file suit against BCCI, Shah, the Govt of India, and especially Pawar, the Federal Minister Of Agriculture, Chairman of NCP and Head of BCCI- a quazi-govt body, for Restraint of Trade and conspiracy, with malice aforethought, through threats and other criminal methods.to prevent ICL from carrying out its lawful business.
Cricket is not the property of BCCI nor Govt- anyone can form their own leagues and players should be free to play for any League they choose without threats to their economic well-being. Besides, ICL was created Long before IPL- BCCI under Pawar is a bully.

Good On you BCCI
by Ramelton Pandya on Mar 16, 2009 10:44 PM

It is good that you tell these 'Pundits' who claim to know what is right and what is wrong.
ICL is in business for profit. So is Herald. They need not tell BCCI how to run their own organization.

NZ media is right. Our BCCI is managed by goons who are now out to threat all the other coutnry boards. The other Boards should show courage. Let NZ board pick Marshall, Vincent, Tuffy, Macmillan and Bond and tell BCCI goons that it is thier own business. This type of practicing apartheid is highly condemnable.

Does NZ cricket board owe anything to BBCI ? Why do they have to bow to BCCI's commands.

Shame on you BCCI
by Guest on Mar 16, 2009 02:49 PM

It is a thing of real shame that the administrators of cricket in India are bringing in disrepute to the sport at a time when the team itself is doing a fantastic job.The board and its power hungry adminisrators would do well to devote their energy on making things better for us rather than getting involved in absolutely trivial issues like these.

ICL shud not be given shoddy treatment
by Reza Arif on Mar 16, 2009 01:59 PM

ICL should be thanked for the advent of IPL ... BCCI's bullying tactics must be put to an end.

BCCI should throw its weight around and govern what other countries boards / teams / media etc. is doing.

What can the BCCI do?????
by Bhasmasur Rakshas on Mar 16, 2009 12:44 PM

If i bypass the IHF and start a rebel hockey league, will the IHF react any differently????
Say, i call it the Indian hockey league...and some German players who play in the Indian hockey league also play for Germany...now can the IHF armtwist the international hockey body??

Definitely not!! Cos India is a substandard nation in hockey...it is the financial muscle and influence of the BCCI before which these foreign boards are bending....

My only question is : If NZ go ahead and select Hamish Marshall and Daryl Tufgey in their national team and play against England in a test series, what can the BCCI do??

The ease and authority the Indian Board wields is more worse than a Dictatorship akin to Terrorism and all these Board Members show the true characteristics of nothing but roadside goons and whores selling Indian team to fill their coffers!
