great leveller
by sunilkumar mishra on Mar 14, 2009 07:33 PM

It is said that cricket is a great leveller and that is the beauty of it and so the Indian team felt after a very lacklustre outing today , but the game has given alot o the team priding itself about invincibility, It is rather good augury before the test series as the team would reassess themselves to face the moving ball as their nemesis always. Ths game today was really one balancing and grounding
one.

by Pathan on Mar 14, 2009 07:27 PM  | Hide replies

Indian time is loosing all the matches which are played in the last of the series
1) Asia cup finals
2) Sri lanka series last match
3) Sri Lanka series last match
4) Last match of the series against New Zealand

Is it carelessness or Intentional ?

THIS TYPE OF ATTITUDE WILL NOT HELP OUR TEAM TO BECOME NO.1
THIS IS NOT WITH WEST INDIES IN THE PAST AND AUSSIES.

I noticed this as well. It sounds a bit like over confidence with a slight hint of "we won the series we dont care"....

Why cant you think this way, that their bowling and fielding is so professional that even scoring 150 is a daunting ask :)

Just blind wins for we indians
by Killer Kills on Mar 14, 2009 07:08 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni a blind batsman and making team the way he is, todays game show that every1 is playing blindly, every1 wants to score more & more runs & more than their other fellow colleagues, nothing like team spirit is left its just jealeousy, all are playing blindly,if a six then they r successful & if not bold like today, this is all bcoz of dhoni, he should be kicked out, he doesn't know how to manage team, today every1 in the team is jealous in the team wid each other, this was not the case in dadas captaincy, dada was the most successful captain , dada is the most successful captain & dada will be the most succesful captain ever, dada I miss u like anyting, there are no words, dhoni u blind batsman dont destroy our team, else u will be crushed. Straight from heart --- the killer.

Thanks to ICL
by satyam vachanam on Mar 14, 2009 07:06 PM

We are thankful to ICL, because of them BCCI refused to play against certain players & we won 3-1. They are - Bond, McMillan, Tuffy, Hamish Marshall etc.
Imagine bowler friendly pitches & Bond - Styris - Mills - Vettri - Oram & Add McMillan - Styris (Included in bowling list) - Marshall with Taylor, Guptil, Ryder & keeper McCullum. BCCI-Team had no chance

Hi this is the First Ever ODI series win in Kiwi Soil. that to 3-0 with Ease.Don say Flat wicket / or seaming wicket.its cricket.
The Previous Cricket teams were given excuse for losing the series Badly ( 5-2 ) Last time.
Now its a last match we lost....Lets cheer up indian cricket..One good thing from this lose is Rohit Sharma unfit to gel with this Team..selfish

not 3-0 , it is actually 3-1!! plus it was a flat pitch!!! you can't deny it!!! moreover not all the matches played in NZ was played on that particular pitch!! in addition to that our team would be nothing without Sehwags fireworks!!! this match proves it!!! he was out and india went tumbling after him!!! moral of the story is we have no one to blame but our players!!! and the dream of being NO.1 is so out of the question if they keep loosing one match per series!!! sooner or later they'll be back to their lose all games spirit!!! you never know when 1 turns to 2 and then to3 and eventually the whole series!!! so don't trouble yourself and cheer up if u want to and don't bother if we aren't all happy cuz it's none of your business!!! so go and accept your dhoni's apologies!! cuz u might want to unlike some!!!

5 points something..............
by rohit kumar on Mar 14, 2009 06:56 PM  | Hide replies

No Team is invincible. And no player is above d game.
So d reality checks and the hard hitting facts are below, though few:

1.India succumbed meekly.Australia ever lost in such way / manner ?-NEVER
2.Batsman are HERO on Flat, but fall flat on 1% bowlers' friendly pitch.( xception-Sachin n Viru)
3.Cricket is an art and Sachin is an artist.Irrespective of India's Win/Loss; pitch conditions-he continued and will continue showing/proving his mastery. Viru is modern art category.
4.Other batsman, will not count Yuvi, are ORDINARY--Raina, Rohit, Dhoni, Yusuf. They are bang bang batsman. No such depth or class.
Give them a bowlers friendly and they look d most ordinary !!!
5.LONG WAY TO GO INDIA..AND LONG WAY TO GO DHONI..M surprised though that why NZ team gave visitors flatter pitches.. hospitality or crowd pulling strategy. whatsoever--wish n pray for balanced PITCHES for test in order to xpose these ORDINARY Batsman.

CRICKET B D WINNER EVENTUALLY..AMEN, N not these ordinary flatter kings
