Oh! Well, if you thought the above was the batting record of a bowler who comes 9th down in the game... Well, it is that of the so called 'specialist batsman' from Mumbai, Mr. Rohit Sharma. He joins the long list of incompetent nincompoop match losers from Mumbai, such as Praveen Amre, Sameer Dighe, Manoj Joglekar, Ramesh Powar, Aavishkar Salvi, Sanjay Manjrekar, Paras Mhambrey and other etceteras, who hung around in the Indian team with similar averages for more than 40 games each... Only because these good for nothings were from Mumbai.
Take this: S Badrinath has been the highest run getter in 3 of the last 5 years in domestic Cricket. Murali Vijay, has the highest average and played most match winning innings than anybody else in the last 2 years. Even, Robin Uthappa has the highest score in Duleep trophy, in this season. And, our man, Mr. Rohit, walks into the team without credentials and hangs around like a paraside.
You would be well aware to know that Rohit scored less than 100 runs in the IPL playing for Deccan Chargers.
DOWN WITH NORTH INDIAN & MUMBAI POLITICS IN INDIAN CRICKET.
SHOULD THIS CONTINUE, NO MATTER HOW GOOD WE ARE, WE WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE MORE GAMES...
now ind has good boling line up to boast of with good variety in right arm pace, left arm seam, rigth arm googly, n offie alongwith left arm turners (parttime). earlier in 1980s, it was said, that if u want to judge a batsman's calibre, throw him against wi pace battery. if he succeeds he is a 'genuine' class. gavaskar was one of those who successfully played them.
now in recent times, 1 can fairly say that if a batsman can score good runs against ind bolng then he is a good bat. thats the strength of our bolng. (may b ryder from nz showed his class!)
From the Auckland match one thing is VERY evident. The Indians are helpless in seaming conditions. So for those of us who needed a confirmation of the previous tour's ghost then last night's match was indeed that. Gambhir genuinely struggled, Sehwag's rotten luck ran out, Rohit Sharma was a tortoise and Dhoni the gully dunda cricketer all failed. It will be interesting in the test series as NZ have clearly indicated there would be fast bowler friendly wickets in all 3 tests. God shave the Indians !!!

yep , right said. it might have been similiar case in the 3rd ODi as well , when the wicked was 2 paced for good part of Indian innings. Thats where you need some one like Sachin who can control the game. Rookies just aint good enough in tough situations
We all know that the same team cannot win always. The honest effort that goes in to try to win a match is what we wanna see. Except Sehwag for everybody else it was time pass batsmen were coming and going back like models on the ramp.
Rockstars went down spinelessly even without a fight. These people are found wanting even if the ball does a lil bit of the pitch. A medium pace bowler like Ryder made these rockstars dance to his tunes. Indian batsmen's batting especially Rohit's batting was a pain in the backside
One word for Rock stars show Pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The typical Indian heart is very big!We win a few matches and let the other team win the rest!(in true sportsman spirit?) We will never win matches continuously like the australians or south africans. Records in consecutive match wins: 1.australia-21 2.south africa-19 3.india-9 As is evident, there is a huge difference between the world's no.1&2 teams and us.Hence the chances of us bridging the gap and becoming no.1 or 2 is very little.
