Kick out rohit sharma
by KKunal Ghogrre on Mar 14, 2009 02:21 PM  | Hide replies

Rohit sharma was abad omen for the team today...Its because of his slow sluggish start there was pressure created on other batsmen..This guy just played for himself for pride..He's one lazy bum whos taken his place for granted.
Commenting on indian performance today , they were way too casual. They dint seem to be in the game to win.
Positive facts are we won the series in nz.And guys we cant expect to win all matches.Uptil now we have won 3 series, in which pplayed 18 won 15 lost 2 drawn 1.Good achievement.Lets hope we dont have a casual approach in tests.
ALL the best india !!!

I am sure that the whole of India knows that any player from Mumbai plays first for his own Pride / Average / Place in the Team / Lastly for his Country. What is needed for the Country does not matter first he will play for his fifty & if he reaches it then he will take some chances & coming to Ishant I feel he is still unfit & only proved to be really stupid by throwing tantrums instead of bowling better. He should be BANNED FOR THE UPCOMING TEST SERIES for disgracing his Country by acting like that.

Helpless Team India once again showed that it would never win a Final Game.God knows till when this formula of winning all the matches except the finals will continue

Ridiculous way 2 Loss
by Anurag Gupta on Mar 14, 2009 02:17 PM  | Hide replies

How can a team who is so called the best ODI team can go down like this. Its ridiculous. There should have been a fight.Bowlers have been absolutely rubbish in this series but for Zaheer and Praveen.Ishant has forgot all the basics and is just running in..

If it was not for Sehwag and Sachin we would definitely have been in precarious situation.

Hoping better performance from bowlers in Test Series.

Dhoni & HIS YOUNG GUNS should be investigated for MATCH FIXING FOR ALWAYS LOSING THE LAST MATCH. They must be BETTING HUGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY ON A OPPOSING TEAM WIN.

INDIAN BOWLING IS WEAK
by rambo only on Mar 14, 2009 02:16 PM  | Hide replies

While India won the 3 matches on Batting Strength, everyone ignored the weak Bowling Attack.
Now it is exposed.

OUR BOWLERS ARE NOT UPTO THE MARK.

fielding is also bad.
we dropped catches, missed stumpings.
in major tournaments we'll be exposed.
we cannot win just on basis of batting.

After highly successful showing at Benson and Hedges Cup 1985 , where India won the tournament ,mainly on its batting strength, India played their next match against Pakistan in Sharjah for Rothmans Cup on 22 March 1985.

India was all out for 125. Everyone thought Pakistan would have a very EASY win.
But India bowled out Pakistan for 87 runs.
Kapil took 3 for 17, Shastri 2 for 17 and Sivaramkrishnan 2 for 16.

We need such potent bowling attack to take care when batting fails.

ofcourse thats a point to be raised, I favour this. In case batting fails, we should n must recover thru some potent and strong attack, loosing is meaning less .... I never favour this

It is disappointing Inida lost without a whimpher. This something I have always been maintaining - Great teams never lose this way.

even if the series are won - losing is not an option.HoW MANY TIMES IT HAS HAPPENED ? There is no disincentive for losing .
while Ishant bowls some unplayable balls , he will bowl atlease a few juicy balls for hitting and also some no balls .Champion bowlers like Mcgarth , WI very rarely do that.

if players have lost interest you could bring those not played like Jadega and Irfan , the later to gice chances to recapture the old form.

simply put it a sahmeful performace.

poor bowling
by Adnan K on Mar 14, 2009 02:06 PM

I dont think india can do anything good in test series if their bowlers perform like this.its horrible bowling from ishant .why people are criticizing munaf patel ishant is doing the same.if we want to be a no 1 side we need to be consistent.by giving away a match like this will only boost opponents confidence.
