Money Honey

IPL is only a tool to make money, money and nothing else. It is purely a bad entertainment. It is not a sporting activity. Nobody is taking care of the poor and poverty. Nobody is giving importance to under-priviledged people and children. A true leader should come up to ban such activities.

Centrally managed?
by Rahul Khaitan on Mar 10, 2009 04:40 PM

What does centrally managed security mean anyways. Everyone is into their own dream world caring two hoots about being a responsible citizen.

Well dear IPL does pay for the security government provides. And they do get taxed for the income they make.. I think if you are ignorant of facts then you should not be talking about it. Actually if Govt does not provide security then it is losing revenue

Anybody is listening. At this point of recession and bad state of affair how do you assure player life. Is Modi give gaurantee of life to all the international players. Instead please adopt govt hospitals and schools that going to do alot better for the country.

You are absolutely right. I agree with you. But, With the fear of these Coward Pakistani Terrorists why we should not organise or Celebrate Independence Day, Republic Day, Diwali, Holi, New Year etc.... Due to Fear Factor if we don't do anything it would be the biggest win for these Dirty Terrorists and ultimately Winner will be Pakistan's Proxy War.

better IPL take care of their own security
by kamini on Mar 10, 2009 04:08 PM  | Hide replies

If IPL need to feel safe , let them arrange private security their own with out counting on government to provide it.. Government is busy chasing innocent college kids partying even in outskirts of bangalore ignoring other major issues like attack on women.. Tomorrow they will tell women cannot watch cricket because it is against indian culture

But they were already noticed before IPL (even Yousuf, Raina, Praveen)

I don't think anybody got chance in the team exclusively because of IPL.

IPL is a separate entertainment and probably playing more T20 games has made cricketers more aggressive!

Opening: DD has the edge thanks to Viru/ Gambhir
Higher middle order: CSK thanks to raina/ hussey/ Dhoni
Lower middle order: CSK due to the 3 big all rounders (Oram/ Morkel/ Flintoff)
Bowling: DD has a slight edge; Mc Grath/ Vettori
Overall tough fight!
