There is a lot of wisdom in our mythology. Why does no one mention the legend of 'Bhasmasur' or ash demon? He was created by the gods in their fight with the asuras, and had the power of making anyone into a pile of ash by just holding his hand on his head. When he had disposed off the ungodly, he turned on the gods! When they remonstrated, he said that he would continue to turn people into ash - that was his nature! The lesson of course is that means are as important as ends. The Islamist terrorist was the creation of the Pakistanis and the Americans to drive the Russians out of Afghanistan. They achieved that objective, but now the Bhasmasur has turned on them and they have no idea how to stop him. To complicate matters, plenty among the Pak army and intelligence establishment still support the demon, perhaps the mistakenly think they can control him, or actually want the hell he is going to make in that country and its neighbours includint our country. Pakistan will likely implode into a Talibani rule and they will then start attacking India. A war might become inevitable - and a total war including nuclrear weapons cannot be ruled out. India will be gravely damaged and Pakistan will be wiped out. Right till end the Americans will continue to give aid to Pak in the name of 'constructive engagement' just as they are doing now. WHERE WILL YOU RUN TO NOW?
Sri Lanka has only themselves to blame for this catastrophe. The whole world knew the state of anarchy in Pakistan. The Mumbai attacks proved conclusively that they had no control over the extremists. Still, the Sri Lankan Board, rather the hot-head Arjuna Ranatunga, turned saviour for the PCB only to taunt and paint Indian Board as cowards. Now they have learnt the lesson the hard way.

Now there will be World Cricket Series in Pakistan. The teams participating will be Al Qaeda, Taliban, LeT, JuM, JeM, Harkat-ul-Ansari. Dawood & Co. will do betting on them. Palyers will wear Salwar Kameez.
