Dhoni always honest.....
by Anurag Rathore on Mar 02, 2009 05:49 PM

Dhoni refused to blame the setbacks on the conditions here and said it was the same for both the sides.

"I don't think they are the same as when we came here in 2003. It was assisting the seamers a lot then. This time they are pretty much favourable for both sides. Whoever plays better cricket will win. I don't think there is much to do with the conditions as we have seen in the last two games," he said.

Above statements shows Dhoni's honesty. He never give any excuse and take defeat as true sportsmanship.

Sachin in dressing room
by Kumar Shubham on Mar 02, 2009 05:37 PM  | Hide replies

MS Dhoni said that it will b a different case in ODI's becoz Sachin will b there & Sachin's presesnce in dressing room inspires others. In the 2 T20s Sachin was not playing but he was present in the dressing room.
Did that helped India???
Team India shud understand by now that records and past performances r gud outside the ground. Once u r on the ground, u must concentrate on the play & play 4 winning and don't pay attention 2 earlier records. Once ur performance is gud on the field, records r automatically set up. So plzz concentrate on the game & nothing others.

What Sachin Does in D/room...
by The Goal on Mar 02, 2009 05:25 PM  | Hide replies

What he does in D/room is not of any concern for me or I want to discuss that, point is what & how he contributes to field ?
* Can he save runs?
* Can he score Fast ?
* Will he be useful as all rounder ?
* Is he Agile & ready to dive in field ?
All & other such imp factors will be of help to India, or else India will be playing with 10 players with One black-hole in batting & fielding.

sachin is a good fielder..he can dive in the ground... he proved it in the second test match against australia at mohali when he took a blinder to dismiss katich of harbhajan...

If we go by your comments only then it sounds as if Sachin Tendulkar is a crippled Man.... Common accept it that he is the Boss!!!

Yeah. I hope not. He seems to have a cool head but then there is also the urge to blast every ball. If he learns the trick to pace his innings and play longer, that will be a gift to indian cricket.

Seems so... But don't worry, he is much better than Afridi & understands cricket better than him. He will soon start taking responsibilities, as he did the same in the past

At the time of retirement declarations by Ganguly and kumble, dhoni was eager to listen the same from Laxman, Dravid and Tendulkar and did not bother anyone as his team was winning almost every game. Now, after debacle in T20 series in NZ, he has started maroing maska to seniors like sachin.
