Totally AUS won 4 wcups including Reliance WCUP which they won in 1987,they dont need a Sachin, infact India need a Ponting to win a WCUP as we havent won since 1983 and Sachin has played 5 WCUPs(92,96,99,2003,2007) and we know what happened to us in all these wcups..what a JOKE?asking sachin to be part of aus for them to win wcup....

Going by the trend, Pakistan in 1999, India in 2003 and Srilanka in 2007 were the loosing Finalist to Australia. 2011 - Who knows Bangladesh reach final. Now pick your second finalist. Don't take it your heart guys.. chill

The observation comes from the fact that in the last 3 world cup finals, one of the finalist has been an Asian Nation.

Brother, Get a life yourself before being a critic of another person. What Santonu Borpuzari said was meant as a true cricket fan. There are still a lot of people who love watching and following test cricket. It doesn't mean sitting full time in front of the Television with out doing any job. And who knows, maybe he is an achiever in life who can afford a relaxed 4-5 days pursuing his love for cricket. So Comment Sensibly and not for the heck of it.

Even Contest
by kiran on Jun 23, 2009 06:57 PM

This time it will be an even contest b/w these two sides. Eng have decent bowling decent batting. Aus is having only one strike bowler Johnson and few inconsistent batsmen. Eng have better chance, what do you say?

Aussies are favourites

The mighty aussies should win the Ashes easily with their racial abuses. No one can forget how Manish pandey was cleaverly abused and he got out in the ipl finals.

Lack of experience of M.Pandey. A.Symonds used his experience and did right by sledging him.

Who else can have SOOOO much of experience in sledging other than symonds? His tricks will not work with anybody, unfortunately young kid became the victim.

Ive played cricket in mumbai though not at this high level... but the point is even in college or divisional cricket there is a lot of sledging and abusing that goes on. So i doubt the sledging got to Pandey... Personally speaking most crickets go through a lot worse sledging in their growing up years... because the media isnt so interested in some school kids abusing each other. best way to deal with it score runs and take wickets
