one of the team among india, pak n srilanka r always finalist since 1992 bcoz the other strong team r SA and AUS only. england, WI and NZ were never been among strongest since last 15 yrs. So among Ind, Pak, Srilanka Aus and SA, the probabability of reaching into the finals is more for Asian team considering the fact that SA could never go ahead of semis. so among 4 strongest team- 75% chances r there for atleast 1 asian team to reach into finals.

there are only 8 countires who are playing serious cricket and out of those 4 are from sub-conitnent. then it has to be like that only..

they were cheaters 10-15 yrs ago with javed miandad, akram, shaoib akhtar, latif, moin.... but i think now they are playing gud cricket. Also I hope they don't call shoaib akhtar. he does not fit in this team.

As long as IPL stays, India will be losers. They get the money they are not bothered losing these cups

Rathore:
:-)..... So you finally agreed that Dhoni was wrong in saying there is no favorite, and it was a sure sign of conceding defeat even before he began the campaign?.... :)

Both Vettori and Ponting has proven wrong. So I said Dhoni was absolutely right who said there is no favourite in T-20.

We won CB series finals, ODI series in Srilanka without Sehwag. Indian team is not dependent on one player which they have proved in last 2 year.

recent ODI series in lanka without sehwag ? r u joking. forgot yuvi-sehwag blasting centuries ? in CB series seheag was part of team,., it is due to dhoni's politics he was not selected.

I am talking about previous ODI series in Srilanka. Sehwag was not in CB series finals which I mentioned.
If india is qualified to semis then the semi is between ind vs Pak.So india easily entered into the finals(according to the worldcup records which india not even lost a single match to pak).Anyway all the best to the team who is going to play against pak in final.Pak should lose in final.

just becoz u cant beat pakistan, why cry ? let the best team win whether it is pakistan, srilanka, nepal or even bhutan.
Nice to see comments purely on talent, or else everyone was bashing pak. With no fault of the cricketers in the mess pak.and its country is in, the cricketers have done well. All the cricket boards and specially the Icc, should look in the matters of pak cricket as there are only a few(8) very talented and competitive countries playing cricket.

It is terribly insulting to cricket to find Indian supporters not minding their team to losing, but do not want Pak. team to win. I do not understand this double standards. I also support India, but I have no grudge against Pak. team. They played brilliantly against SA yesterday. It is all the more appreciable since Pak. team does not play in many matches (for no fault of the team). May be this is the reason why they have to excel in the limited number of appearances they make. Unlike the Indian team which keeps on playing. Within 10 days of this tournament, they are off to playing the next series in WI. BCCI reminds me of some Goonda employers employing bonded labourers in granite quaries where the workers have to work 14-16 hours a day!! How can you find motivation when quality is compromised for quantity?
yesetrday Kallis was batting like Dhoni. I saw him nudging aroung when they needed almost 12.5 an over. Though he played some big strokes, I thought he could have played more aggressively. Smith is not fit for t20 and he was tottally out of form.
Re: SA
by Harish Iyer on Jun 19, 2009 10:53 AM
SA is pathetic. Pak plays t20 like no other team. their entrire domestic cricket is t20 only. no wonder they r finals seond time and in all certainity win too.
Re: Re: SA
by amit singh on Jun 19, 2009 10:57 AM
Harish.. stop praising. just bcos they have entered the semifinal, its not that other teams were not good. Only thing is that they were not good enough on that particular day. Pak has won and now u r descibing their domestic structure as best. cummon!
Re: Re: Re: SA
by Harish Iyer on Jun 19, 2009 11:01 AM
i just said their domestic structure is all t20s. does it mean it is best ?? i am not supporting pak .. i enjoy good cricket. and pak is playing that. as simple.
