My Team ----------- 1. Gambhir 2. Rohit 3. Raina 4. Yuvraj 5. Dhoni 6. Dinesh Kartik 7. Y.Pathan 8. I Pathan 9. Bhajji/Ojha 10. Praveen Kumar 11. Zaheer
We cannot allow playing 5 bowlers as in no match five bowlers bowled a full spell. Y. Pathan is doing a great job with the ball so better to take dinesh kartik.

Yes, against Eng Dhoni will again come at No.3 and may succeed also. That should not justify his batting at No.3.
Even trying Harbhajan at No.3 also may succeed unless the conditions are favourable to the bowlers.

what about the idea of introducing usuf pathan in the middle over (ekdum sumdi may) pata bhi nahi chala unko. (agreed that his batting is concern but still he is the best person to lead india as of now)
26 years down the line , we have never own a ODI world cup again. Out of 8 serious teams most of them own the ODI world cup some time or other. Why do we expect to win T20 world cup in just next sesaon? For this also we have to wait for more than a quarter century. Till such time not many countries were playing hockey , we were kings. Hope , Japan, China, Korea dont start playing cricket. Then Indian cricket will go hockey way. We may be good but other teams are much better than ours. Why cant we accept others superiority in cricket? Reality hurts .... sigh :(

26 years down the line cricket will be played at home (virtual reality)or maybe in Himalayas where there will not be any snow left

For hockey, the main reason for India's decline is not because other countries started playing. Many people in India do not know that India got 4th place in 1956 Olympics and with barefoot they could stand up to the best who played with boots. They were no.1 in Asia till mid-60s. Do you think Indian football declined because other countries started playing it? The standard in most other sports and games in India has only declined because of lack of Govt support and poor management.
T20 can easily spread across other countries. Soon China will become a strong competitor. Unless India works hard in fielding and running between the wickets (which means stress on fitness), they will find hard to compete with others especially in T20 format.
Indian team now realises the importance of the services of Sehwag. There were no clear indications about his injury and he came back home 'India'. Dhoni has forgotten the format of cricket. He has played a fantastic 'Test Knock' in Twenty 20 format. His strike rate is 28.6 when he faced the 16th ball. Secondly, poor handling of the bowlers at the right time. R.P.Singh could have been given an opportunity instead of Irfan Pathan or Ishant Sharma. He is the best bowler when it is compared to the death overs and hitting the deck. It is all proved in IPL T 20. We dont want fast bowlers, we need only the quality bowling. Ishant most of times proved that He tries to beat the batsman with his bowling not the wicket. Look at Lasith Malinga who bowls fantastically with his yorkers. Look at Ishant he never bowled a single delivery with a yorker. Dhoni proved himself a worthless captain when it matters to quality bowling and fielding. Gayle never had much discussion with his bowlers and fielders because he is a great captain eventhough his team won the match, he talks politely and the kind of gesture. He doesnot take the victory to the Head.

ther is no point in saying 'he' shoud have replaced 'he' , such things only excuses not the solution
india played their best possible 11 , and still no need to change that , unfortunatly they cud nt perform well ,it happens in cricket , the only thing they need to really take seroius is dhoni's batting style, he shoud attack more , rest all r ok.
but still India not going to win this t20. Its for SA this time, they are such a gud team but everytime losing in semis or knock out matches . atleast this time they shoud get the credit/result for their superb allround performance , not only of this t20 , but its for the past 8-10 pers, i support SA to win this T20.
sorry for india - they will get another trash from SA when they play on 16-6-09.
SA bowling is the best in this t20 . Highest scored against SA in their 3 matches is 127 scored by Nezealand. thats amazing bowling record,
even in the 2 warm up matches they played opposition team bowld out for 102 and 130.
so up to now the opposit teams scores against SA may read - (srilanka) 102 , (Pak) 130 , (Scotland )81, (NZ)127, (England)111 .
that clearly says the strength of their bowling power , they deserve t20 cup and they wil do it this time , no matter who r the opposite

Sehwag & gambhir was the key in recent past. whenever they played India won & when they failed India lost the matches.

Sehwag and Gambhir were the biggest flops in the recent ipl. Sehwag's days are over and he can join kumble in the commentary or expert opinions.

It can also be said of Sachin and Ganguly.... but they cant be recalled into the squad. So past players are irrelevant. Even Srikanth can play better t20 but he also has to be omitted.

Mr. x, Sehwag is part of current team, he has been moved by some dirty politics by MR.MC.BC Dhoni...HE is not past player
dhoni tried very hard to push india to defeate against bangladesh and now against windies with his sh1t batting this time he succeded ask him to change his game or throw him out of the team he has the slowest strike rate in this formate i think he dont desarve a place in the team
I think Dhoni is main reason for yesterday's defeat against West Indies, he takes 11 runs from 23 Balls and he also miss the simple run out chance of Bravo. This is the turning point - anil

anil is correct and precise abt the match.we are discussing 20 /20 not test cricket which is totally out of context.Poor bating of Dhoni is the root cause for yesterday's defeat .
