Look @ my post 'Dhobi only plays for his sponsor, not TEAM' in the other Dhoni article 'of-course-i-have-changed-says-ms-dhoni.htm' I had predicted that if a wicket fell early, Dhobi wont come @ no. 3 Coward!! Post match he says I & Yuvraj tried to turn things around REALLY?? 11 runs in 23 balls is a turn-around ?? In which direction ?
Then he dropped Lendl Simmons & then missed an easy chance to run-out BRAVO!! (Yes, the man that then hit 3 sixes & 4 fours) Yet its the top-order that failed.
gambhir has done well only bcoz of flat track .. otherwise he is not such a gr8 batsman ... he does not have varieties of strokes and ends up giving his wicket away ...
gambhir's performance in next matches wil prove his batsman skills .... testing time 4 all players ........

ther is no point in saying 'he' shoud have replaced 'he' , such things only excuses not the solution
india played their best possible 11 , and still no need to change that , unfortunatly they cud nt perform well ,it happens in cricket , the only thing they need to really take seroius is dhoni's batting style, he shoud attack more , rest all r ok.
but still India not going to win this t20. Its for SA this time, they are such a gud team but everytime losing in semis or knock out matches . atleast this time they shoud get the credit/result for their superb allround performance , not only of this t20 , but its for the past 8-10 pers, i support SA to win this T20.
sorry for india - they will get another trash from SA when they play on 16-6-09.
SA bowling is the best in this t20 . Highest scored against SA in their 3 matches is 127 scored by Nezealand. thats amazing bowling record,
even in the 2 warm up matches they played opposition team bowld out for 102 and 130.
so up to now the opposit teams scores against SA may read - (srilanka) 102 , (Pak) 130 , (Scotland )81, (NZ)127, (England)111 .
that clearly says the strength of their bowling power , they deserve t20 cup and they wil do it this time , no matter who r the opposite

south africa and w.indies shud go 2 finals ......... both team deserves .... i wil b much happy 2 c windies winning t-20 .... bcoz last 5-8 yrs thier performace is down ...
It was not Dhoni's day. Now days he is playing like as if to save a test match (11 of 23). In 12 deliveries people hit 35 odd. I think it is not the same old Dhoni you used to tonk sixes. Captaincy and 500 cr ad Contracts have made him a little dull. He is taking his place in the team for granted. He has already gone the Uthhappa's way. Bcoz of his cool head he has got captaincy (fastest in indian history -2 years of international cricket). Common Dhoni dont disappoint your fans!!!

in 23 balls if have scored 23 runs INDIA would have a chance and missed simplest chance to get BRAVO run out and both the players were one side of the pitch!!!
ishant is not fit for 20 format. he has been most expensive. i think line n lenth bolrs like rp or praveen r better option for t20. preserve ishant for odi n tests.
As evident Mahendra singh Dhoni is a shot less wonder, and did put lots of pain with his decision to bat first when he had won the toss. In actual terms he should have chased. he wasted so many balls with his stupid tennis type strokes! one wonders weather he is batsman or tennis player. Go Dhoni Go, bat at 6 and promote yusuf and yuvraj.
v need good bolr like praveen or rp singh. irfan is taken for his bating ability ignoring his boling. it costs us too much. v cant go on playing 6 batsman and 5 'mediocre' bolrs who can 'also' bat.
Our teams bench strength is better than the playing eleven. I think must be replaced with Karthik, Ishant with RP. No need of Two full time spinners in t20 so replace Harbhajan or Ojha with Jadeja and Ifrfan with Praveen. RP was the best bowler of IPL 2. But he is sitting in bench. Praveen is a typical t20 player he too is in bench.

Well said. RP and Praveen should always preferred to Ishant at least in T-20 or one-dayers. Even from batting or fielding angles, RP and Praveen are superioer to Ishant. These two bowlers had performed better than Ishant in T-20 as well as in one dayers.
