It is really shameful that Viru hide out injury and went a/w family members in world cup team. BCCI shall recover from him all the fees paid towards ticketing, stay in U.K., match charges for first 2 matches, etc. How great may be the player but he shall not do such things. Please give unishment to him so that no body will dare to repeat the incidence in future.

Agreed and above all he quashed the chances of many worthy young Indian players sitting on the fence. BCCI should make the selection transparent and for this Sehwag injury incidence, its not only Sehwag to be made accountable but also the entire selection committee and the team phsyio. Dhoni's anguish was justifiable and kudos to him for being brave and expressed his anguish for a senior player like Sehwag. In the past, Team India was always burdened with the seniors like Ganguly, Dravid, Sachin ..
Indian team is a tired lot and this would be reflected in the important matches that are comming up .
We should not crib even if this talented but presently lacklustrous team India fail to capture the cup this time .
Its wont be fault of team india .Its the fault of greedy BCCI officials who ensure that these guys are kept busy playing throughout the year leaving them susecptable to injury during the important events like world cups .
Rohit sharma is a much better player than shewag but incase he fails even once in the upcomming matches there is no assurity of a backup firework from Yuvi ,Raina or for that reason Dhoni .
Ghambir is already out of touch .I think fellow indian must accept the fact that India stands a bleak chance this time in the world cup given the present form of players like Dilshan ,Old man Jayasuria and Gale and others .
So i think its better that we all accept the truth and dont predict future of this cup .This is a tired lot .

its not only his mistake, what was physio doing? do they not do fitness test before every match? If they(team management) dint know about the injury, why was he not picked for the first game?
More over after playing International cricket for few years for India, they need not go back behind the money, it will follow them!!

Dear, Agreed. There is no difference (who're famous & as well as high earning) in following categories. 1. POLITICIANS 2. FILM STARS 3. BUREAUCRATS 4. SPORTS PERSONS (CRICKETERS ESPECIALLY) These peoples can go to any extent for fetching more & more money........

Dhoni does not deserve to be captain of the indian team . During these ipl matches hedoes not get injusred . BUT if there will be a test match he will give a skip. you check out last two-three test series. he has skipped against KIWIS , AUSTRALIANS and also against sri lankans
I was not selected in indian team due to groin injury.My physiotherapist advised me two months complete bed rest otherwise i would have massacred ireland.
SO WAIT FRIENDS I WILL RETURN DEFINITELY IN INDIAN SQUAD AND AND U WILL SEE GOLDEN PERIOD OF INDIAN CRICKET AGAIN.

Like the previous series also ,the captain of team energy are reduced to avoiding the media spars. Instead of concentrating on game and be assured that the country is behind him ,the media creates a difficult situation for the captain . Plese leave him alone controversies later . This has a serious deterrent effect on media.
