why will some one learn urdu?? urdu is a foreign language. south indian languages are inherently indian. Yes, tamils should learn hindi, because that's a national language, but there's no point in learning urdu

Hindi is an official language and for your info Hindi is not a National language correct your statement dear friend
Rediff is coming up with articles which are definitely mischievious. I beleive ethics is in short supply in rediff office. Rediff needs to introspect before people lose total faith in rediff and they stop getting the hits (afterall articles like these are all for max. hits and showing to advertisers to rake in moolah).
T20 is more of strength and power which is normally more in northies than south indians(no offense intended). They have better build and stamina. We get better test cricketers, spinners from south. This author is a real sucker racist

Be united... don't say `North India' `South India' like North Korea and South Korea or North Ireland and South Ireland.. say `Northern part of India and Southern Part of India.. ' we are one..

Well Said, Sethu. I have to object what true Indian is quoting here. Please remember that Krish Srikanth, pioneer of slogging in 1st 15 overs himself is from southern part. It is not just strong and well built, it is all about the talent. Currently we have a team with good talent. Even Suman, Vijay, Badrinath and Maish are all hard hitters, but it is hard for them to replace the well set 11.

I am not doubting the power of northies vis-a-vis southies. I am telling a general concept, Its a general trend that south are more literate than north but that does not mean there are no literates in North

Hey True Indian, If Northies have so much power and Strength, How come weak, powerless girls with no stamina like PT Usha, Valsamma, Shiny abraham, and many others from Kerala have consistently done well in athletics in National and International events. Why all bhaiyyanis and punjabans were too busy stuffing themselves with aaloo parathas?

hahaha.. Beta ghazi.. Indians may call each other whatever they may. But, both southern and northern Indians spit on you pakis.
This rediff has gone mad... they are doing this for cheap publicity...instead they can beg around for money...Go..Rediff..Go and beg for money.. my contribution is 1 rupee...
rediff please stop writing such a racial column in your paper. please donot divide the country with the zone wise. let the team perform as a indian nation not the so called zonal games.
Rediff and Editor.. Pls do not devide the nation. There was time when only players from Mahrashtra & Karnataka played. It is like this.. who play better would be selected.. ultimately we need wins thats it.
Who is this guy who wrote this !! Pragyan Ojha is from Hyderabad, plays for Hyd and southzone. Dont know how somebody writes on Cricket without knowing the facts. This can happen only in Rediff
Re: what a way to write an article
by True Indian on Jun 11, 2009 07:48 PM
Ojha is not from Hyderabad. He is a bengali/oriya player. He just plays for IPL Hyderabad
The rediff editors are mentally sick. with these types of headlines, they just want to start a north-south fight and then sit back and enjoy the abuses.
shame on your rediff -- this is really really sick.
What is that Rediff is trying to prove with this stupid article? It appears that their only motto now a days is to get more clicks on each page so that they get more revenue from the advertisement. You take any article and they publish that with either photographs or some cartoon pictures and readers have to click through 8-9 pages to read article of 30-40 lines
