playing cricket is proffesional career now and it can nt b reduced. it is increasing job opportunities now.good for india as here lot of ppl r unemployed.
Group A - indian - 1 Group B - Engalnd - 2 group C - Aus - 1 Group d - NZ - 1
Indias matches in Super 8 A1(India) vs C1(Aus) A1(India) Vs B2(Eng) A1(India) Vs D2(SA)
Seeded team qualify for super 8,they retain their group stage seedings irrespctive of the outcome in the group.eg.India will be A1(1)even if they come 2nd in group stage.
SO India,Aus,SA and Eng will play against eachother in super 8 put of which only 2 can go the semis.so india,aus and sa all 2 cannot qualify.
Similary,PAK,NZ,SRILANKA/WI and Bang will play in super 8.

either india,aus or sa will get kicked out in super 8
B S Chandrasekhar was a fast leg spin/ goodly bowler. He bowled at 110 sometimes even 120 , as fast (or as slow!) as Irfan. Imagine leg breaks or the wrong-ones coming at that speed. His top spinners would have been faster than the likes of Irfan, Praveen, etc. Nostalgic!
I m unable to understand y ppl although very few in numbers, always try to critisize him widout having any sense and knowledge abt cricket. cn anybody tell me wht is the reason behind telling him selfish. is it bcoz he made so many century and other players who these ppl support could nt make even half of them. for all these ppl- let hv an example- in ODI he made 42 centuries out of which india won 31 matches. he had 57 man of the match and no 1 in world cricket is behind him to cross ahead. now how cn u tell him selfish? few ppl says he could nt perform well finals. comapair his average in finals againts all the batsman to whom u want to compair and then make stmt like tht. sachin have won several finalsfor india. in 1998 - india won 6 IDI series and sachin made centuries in 5 of those finals.dont forget last year in triangular series agains AUS. dont forget he is player of big tournament. he was top scorer in WC 1996 and WC 2003 made 523 and 673 runs respectively. even now is 20 yr old in cricket he is performing well. c the tour of NZ. wht more do u expect frm him. 1 more thing- if u could c the century made by other player like ponting,sehwag etc there will always b some drop catches whre as 90 percent of sachin centuries r widout drop catches. he never gets tht bcoz opposition never wants 2 set him on wkt. he dnt need comment of u ppl. he performed well in IPL also n on 2nd num among indian in makin run. he had prb wid captaincy. bt as a batsman he is all time great.

dude u asked me the criteria. tell me why he bocomes slow when he crosses 70 runs , why he plays the safe game while he lets other play the attacking shots, so that he doesnt lose his wicket. dont u think that others need to make runs. with his ability he still doesnt have neither an extraordinary strike rate or average. yes he has played 400 matches and such a person is bound to make these many runs.

dear why don't you see the figures he got out 16 times after reaching the figure of 90s just because of the hard hitting and not caring of his wicket....plz look the stats first

Mr Sachin, u cn think everything in 2 way.either in positive or in negative way. its nt long ago when sachin tries to play quickly n try to make airy route then every 1 started critisizing him tht he is throwing his wkt. now as a senior player his importance is to stay on wkt as long as he can.whether to play quickly or nt is nt decided by himself only. its team decision. in early part of his career he has been put as opener to hit the bowl but now he is senior most player n if he wll throw his wkt then alongwid knowledgeless ppl like u ,expert will also start critisizing him n thts the fact. I think he is doin right. for some time he has stopped some of his stroke n the reason ws the injury he had faced since last 10 yrs- in back, thumb, stomach,elbow etc n still he is able 2 perform well.n if u r talkin abt slowness then mr sachin u know he has completed his ceturies wid six several times. also if he is slow then tell after playin 425 ODI, how his SR is over 85 and still avg is 45. c all the other player who have played atleast 5-10 years. if they wll hv better strike rate then they wll definately hv less avg than sachin. i means 2 say that after playing 425 matchs still sachin has maintained brillient SR and avg. jst compair it wid other gr8 batsman who hv played so long.

do u know that we have lost only 1 match when yuvi has crossed 50 runs. or 1 0r 2 when viru or ganguly has scored century

jst talk abt those match only in which only yuvraj or viru has significant contribution.bcoz there r also other player n if yuvraj made 50 then thre mst b other player also who has contributed significantly in the match. where as in most of the sachin century he ws the only 1 who has contributed significantly and other had less contribution. if he could hv some contribution from others in those matches then definately india would hv been winner in all those 42 matches in which he made century. dnt compair him wid yuvraj or sehwag. hw many run they hv made??its very difficult to play 20 yrs continuously. its nt cakewalk.

Sachin Vishy and Kapil Having said that these three are not 100% perfect they have a few drawbacks, but then who doesn't have. The bottom line is these are the top 3 (in all time Indian greats). No doubt about that.

It is funny to see Ganguly's name here. Ganguly is a great one day batsman and shown signs of aggressive captaincy. Thats it. Ganguly is a crying baby infront of the media for whatso ever the reason is. Pls, dont include Ganguly in the list and people like Gavaskar, Kumble, Vinoo Mankad all names can be debated and certainly Ganguly dont deserve this. Probably, ganguly will top the list for the Crickter from Bengal.
All those who are critisizing Sachin r just fools because everyone knows how great a player he is. He played with a technically awful Saurav who used to jump like a monkey whenver short balls were pitched at him, he played with one of the worst ever Indian outfits during 1990's and carried the whole team on his shoulder for more than a decade.
Sir. Donald Bradman, Viv Richards, Shane Warne, Glen McGrath, Brian Lara, Sunila Gavaskar, Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram and even Kapil Dev acknowledged him and respected him but some fools feel than they know more cricket then these greats.
Some of the players with whom he's being compared in this coloumn could not score halp the amount of runs he scored in International in even Ranji's.
