he earns for himself and his family. what irks you about what he does with his money? so stfu
With custum duties and other taxes, this SUV costs around 3-4 crore in indian rupee. Dhoni is trying to make collection like famous hero and businessman Sunil Shetty. If dhoni will try to become person like Mr.Shetty, that will be more better.

Im a US citizen and i dont see every second car as a hummer here in Los angeles i dont know which city has more cooler rides than LA
I owned a Hummer in US while my husband was working there. The we moved to Rwanda and we were one of the 3 people to own a hummer. Then we moved to Namibia where the rich and upper middle class have hummer along with other cars.I hve a Yellow color hummer which is the only color available in Namibia.
Hummer is a fuel guzzling car and gives about 6 kms per liter. It was mainly manufatctured during the 1st world war for the US army. Of late most mericans do not buy the hummer and GM is now offloading such fuel guzzlers to 3rd world countries like India, china, Latin American and frican countries.
It is a real beauty and can also easily be handled by a lady. I hve touched top speed exceeding 180 Kms on this beauty in US and Namibia.
In US it costs around USD 30000.00 on road and in African countries is costs around USD 60000.00.

Its nice of you to share your story of owning up an "Hummer". Recently I had been to Dubai, wherin I saw a lot of Hummers zip up and down the streets, including one in yellow, it looks so cool, I took couple of snaps of one of them. It seems Toyota Motors has launched one model that resembles Hummer.
It is a drinks gas like hell. Gives only about 8 miles per gallon. CA governer had to change the Hummer to a smaller car as Environmentalists protested.

jagdish people who buy this kind of cars are least bothered abt fuel consumption...if they can buy 1 cr car they can afford to spend 10000 pm on fuel
Re: Dhoni still using Car?

I agree with you...why is he still moving on the roads using cars and bikes...thats for people like you and me...
After skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh has become the latest Indian cricketer to buy the Hummer and the feisty off-spinner says the American SUV is the dream car he has always wanted to possess.
Harbhajan imported the car from England, which costs about Rs 70 lakh in India. After paying the duty, the cost of the vehicle has come to Rs one crore.
While Dhoni's Hummer is of silver colour, Harbhajan has opted for a "Black Beauty".
Harbhajan is planning to first visit some religious places with his new car before showing it off to the media.
"Let me first take the car to religious places," he said.
Having bought his dream car, Harbhajan is also looking forward to shifting to a new home.
The house is under construction in the New Baradari area of the city.
