wow... what a self respecting guy u are. u should be voted as Indias Most Self-respecting citizen, your name should be proposed for the "" the Global Self-respecting human being""......
buy the way I had a question, in your view, the businessmen are not self-respecting people, right? and also the cricketers or any player should not have right to earn in an honest and proper way other than representing their country?

Relief for Ganguly
by vathula on Feb 20, 2009 09:45 AM  | Hide replies

With only 4 overseas players allowed, for batting, KKR has McCullum, Gayle, D. Hussey; the last 2 can also bowl couple of decent overs. What a relief for Ganguly! I still think it will be a final between CSK and DD

you jokers should understand Ponting cared three hoods for the money based IPL if Kolkata team has enough why should they lean on to Ponting at all. We have seen in last IPL how much Indian cricketers contributed against the foreign players. Come out of your dens and see the reality. I am 100% sure the Kolkata team will be eliminated even before the quarter finals ....

Quarter final requires 8 teams to qualify. There are altogether 8 teams in IPL. So will KKR not feature in a single match!!!!!!!!!!! Then again 7 teams are left. Would that be sufficient with 7 teams to play in quarter finals with former winners already in the semis we will have three quarter finals. Good for the public. There is only 6 matches in this IPL season thanks to krish

Uncertainty drives him deciding...

Like most Aussies do, he himself started playing with words and his decision of ignoring IPL 2nd season is primarily because of his uncertainty of retaining his place in the playing 11 for Australia.
Its exactly a money factor that drives his decision. Moreover he is not a demanding customer for this shorter version of cricket sofar and so it is going to be a welcoming news for Dada and Sharuk.

you dud should understand if it is for money he would certainly taken up IPL this year.It is for strengthening his national team that he is opting out not like the great Dhoni going behind IPL inspite of his greater responsibility. It is indians who run after dollars than the foreigners who already have it. Better learn to respect some one's good gesture than boofing it up. The amount of credentials that Ponting has no equivalent in Indian camp. He still has years to over take Tendulkar's no. of centuries (39 and 41)keep yopping till then...

you should appreciate this
by gokula krishnan on Feb 20, 2009 07:37 AM

i personally dont like the aussie "behaviours"...
but this one needs appreciation...first
mitchell johnson dint fall for the lure,
clarke avoided after realising it,
ponting after going thru it once...
money is not the only thing...
dhoni prefered to skip a test series in srilanka for IPL,
KP,flintoff were head over heels to get a pie,
and so many instances...

Spoiled kid..

Easily Pointing will be biggest cry baby and spoiled kid in the world of Cricket. If this guy had a million dollar contract, his stand would have been different. Just by skipping this 2 weeks, he is not loosing much and put additionla burden on other players. Media should ignore this as a big thing to IPL.
