Dhawal
by great maratha on Feb 14, 2009 03:25 PM  | Hide replies

The poor guy has not even bowled a single dilivery at international levelbut already he has a whole bunch of critics.Mumbai players, may it be legends like Tendulker or Gavasker or newcomers like Dhawal have always been targetted on this forum. That is the narrow minded mentality of our countrymen who cannot tolereate the rise of their own countrymen.
Let me tell you that being a Marathi i am a strong supporter of Murali karthik and R.P.Singh and i feel that they deserve to be in the squad.
Please learn to accept the greatness of your fellow countrymen and learn to look beyond boundaries of region and language.I think history has not taught us a lesson. It is because Indians betrayed their own countrymen and saluted foreign invaders that India was under foreign rule. But sadly even today we abuse Sachin but salute Ricky Ponting.

Re: UGLY KOKERS

Brett Lee, Shaun Tait have good speed but have failed.
Zaheer is not the fastest but the best in the world.
Shoaib was fastest but is OUT eOF CRICKET.
Does speed mean everything? You need learn basics of cricket all over again.......
Irfan NEVER had speed even when he was successful.
Balaji and Dhawal have together taken 90 wickets this season on unhelpful Indian docile pitches.... for nothing?
Remember conditions in NZ will help swing bowling...

Sreesanthi is 100 times better than Munaf & Balaji
by Sumit on Feb 14, 2009 02:57 PM  | Hide replies

Srikkanth the joker is playing his politics now. All the bull*shit selectors are playing their ugly games and the real talents are not getting chance. Sreesanth is the second fastest seemer in Indian side and he is not getting change to play in NZ. He could have a vital role in NZ series, but Srikanth is bias and selected Balaji and Karthik non performers through out the chances given earlier. Big bull*shit and hell the selectors

Just being the second fastest seemer doesnt mean that he should get the chance to play for the team. Balaji, karthik and murali are just a surprise inclusions to me. I t is only because of Srikanth they are there. Srikanth who himself was an under perfomer in those days will select only under performers.

Don't expect too much
by India on Feb 14, 2009 02:41 PM  | Hide replies

Dhawal is just like the others from Mumbai. The list is endless, Ankola, Agarkar, Kuruvilla, Mhambrey, Salvi, Santosh Saxena, Morris, Hazare, etc. All flattered to deceive. Mumbai bowlers are all mediocre fast bowlers. Only fit to carry drinks. What can you expect from bowlers who eat starchy, sugary marathi food? Mumbai can only produce great batsmen, not fast bowlers.

I was only referring to Mumbai fast bowlers in the last 20 years. Agarkar was a joke and a total letdown.
