tera kya hoga re DHAWAL...
by deepak choudhary on Feb 14, 2009 01:48 PM  | Hide replies

dude he will definetly get weight lefting practise in NZ carrying drinks bottle, changing glubs, bats, kit etc..
ok its good experience to share dressing room with senior players.

quite a few cricketers who came into the Indian National team after their 1 ranji season as star performer but were not able to cope up with the demands of International cricket... and result they all fade away..

so better let him toil in 2-3 years in ranji n domestic circuit, it will make him tough mentally as well as physciaaly to bear the pressure of international arena....

i dont believe in anti-maharastrian theme..
but you tell me what happened to VRV Singh, Pankaj Singh, Randabe Bose....selected in Indian team and now back to domestic circuit...

and recently Ravindra jadeja and Pragyan ojha , why they were sacked from ODI and Test team respectively...when they had good outing in Lanka

so some times selectors really act as bunch of jokers...

Sir you are under some misconception. If the strongest were to survive in cricket than Great khali and not Sachin Tendulker would have been the best batsman. You are pathetic.I can sense your jealousy for mumbai guys. But if Bengal does not make quarter final of Ranji how do you expect Ranadeb Bose to get selected. You cannot select Bose for destroying Himachal Pradesh.I feel sorry for you and hope Bose and Pankaj Singh do well in the future.

Wait. Only time will reply you.

You don't have to look dangerous to be a fighter. You have to have a steely determination, which is in the people who are calm.

Remember, 'barking dogs don't bite'. So if a person is boistrous then he can only do that, not perform.

feel great for dhawal..
by sam w on Feb 14, 2009 01:29 PM  | Hide replies

its amazing that this fellow got selected.. looks very mediocre.. not threatening.. but all that matters is what he does with the ball in 22 yards.. he has done it ranji.. I am a true mumbai ranji fan..and hoping this guy does well.. chances for dhawal to play are bleak..but if he does get a chance I am sure he will rock coz NZ is for bowlers like him eg simon doull, jacob oram high arm line and length bowlers..

Please look at Dhawal's physical frame. He looks like a spinner U-16 team ka ? Pankaj Singh, Ranadeb Bose would have been a better choice. India certainly does not have fast bowlers other than Zaheer and Ishanth.

pehle gym bhejo....
body bana dhawal..
120 -125 km/hr speed ball of yours will be smashed all over the oceania area..

beta Sachin tau ji ka boost pio...
body banao.. stamina lao ..phir aao....
nahi toh salil ankola, paras mhambrey, abhey kuruvilla, ki tarah 4-5 ODI khel ke ghar janaa...

I think in the presence of Zaheer,Ishant it will be difficult for Dhawal to carve a place in the side.He needs to add some more pace.He is not express but has great control on line and length. He is more of the Glenn Mcgrath type. All the Best wishes to him.Iam sure he will succeed if given a chance because he has that mumbai never say die attitude.
