To solve all these problems, I suggest that we have three separate teams for test cricket, one-day cricket and T20. No player should be in more than one team. India has a surfeit of talent and this will be a good way to give everyone a chance.

Why stop at only three different teams. In fact we can have three teams to play against each nation. And we can play simultaneously with so many teams. And we can have so many retired cricketers as commentators and experts and support staff. This is REALLY A GOOD WAY TO GIVE EVERYONE A CHANCE

Although I am not taking sides if either RP or Dhawal,I must say one thing that RP just played one Ranji Match .So no comparison on the basis of Ranji Match. If you look at his international career He is much sucess full in fast pitches. You can see his track record. I think Kris Srikanth is just satisfying his ego by sidelining him.

From Cric info.... Dont be a frog in the well sir... In November 2008 M Vijay, in association with Abhinav Mukund, added 462 for the first wicket in a Ranji game for Tamil Nadu. They might have fallen two short of the record by two runs, but Vijay was told he would have to leave the game midway and join the Indian team the next day for a Test against Australia. He got that chance because Gautam Gambhir, the regular opener, had been banned for one match. Vijay didn't look out of place at all, scoring 33 and 41, and running out Matthew Hayden. He was later selected as India's third opener for the Tests in New Zealand.
A tall, solid opening batsman, Vijay was an instant success in his debut Ranji season with Tamil Nadu, finishing as the third-highest run-getter with 628 runs in seven games at a 50-plus average in 2000-07. It was followed by another good season - 582 runs at 58.2. He was picked for the India A squad to face New Zealand A in two Tests at the start of the 2008-09 season, and scored 200 runs in four innings. Included in the India Red team for the Challenger Trophy, he finished as the tournament's second-highest run-getter, which finally led to his Test selection. This was rapid progress for someone who had picked proper cricket relatively late, at 17.

I am surprised. I thought Lalu Yadav, Mulayam Yadav, Pappu Yadav will head the list. I am totally disappointed. This is unfair. Why politicians can't play. I am suggesting for another Premier League where only politicians will play and teams will be statewise. Some of the new rules should be,
1. You can refuse to leave the pitch even if you are declared out. 2. You can abuse anybody on the field. 3. You can wear any dress like dhoti, baniyan etc. 4.Cows and buffalos are allowed as fielders. 5. Tobacco and alcohol are allowed on the field.

Whats your problem in life boss?? Here is a bloke boasting of the best bowling performance in domestic cricket last year and you still feel he is undeserving for national selection. Why? just because he belongs to Mumbai. It is not his mistake that he belongs to Mumbai!!
Get our of this weird mentality and start applauding good decisions.
