I would have imagined the selectors had some sense but by not selecting Praveen Kumar, they have given every indicationthat they are just paid stooges & nothing more. Praveen Kumar is the ideal bowler for conditions in New Zealand. Munaf Patel should not have been given more chances given his record of injuries & his habit of concealing them to get selected. Amit Mishra too, is not likely to be played, so, his place should have gone to Irfan Pathan. But who is listening ????????????????

Pravin Kumar dropped himself from selection because he wants to join English speaking classes. In New Zealand life without English is like hell. I think next New Zealand tour he should be surely in.

Well Praveen is still there in the one day team. It is only tests, where he is not there. Between Munaf and him, in tests, I think Munaf is a better test bowler. He may not be that good in one day, but seems that in tests he def seems like better - though I have never seen Praveen bowl in tests.

Sreesanth... where is he... he I think was more a talented bowler... than Munaf and this RP or Dhawal...
Only problem with him was that he is a little trouble making every time but time might have changed his attitude..

yes u are absolute right pravinkumar is better then munaf but my view is bit diff regarding amit mishra though pragyan oza has edge but still i think good move to create batch stregth by giving amit misra but frankly i still go with murli kartik

To get a bowler with speed of 150 ... u will have to go to out of india to find it ... All our mal-nourished bowlers by the time they reach international level .. lose half of their pace. 2nd reason to lose pace .. is .. indian wickets do not help extreme fast bowler .. they have to decrease their pace to make batsman play false shots and get wickets.

Although I am not taking sides if either RP or Dhawal,I must say one thing that RP just played one Ranji Match .So no comparison on the basis of Ranji Match.If you look at his international career He is much sucess full in fast pitches.You can see his track record. I think Kris Srikanth is just satifying his ego by sidlining him.
