Re: What Next ?

I always find it so surprising in this blog especialy when a guy from South gets selected, the only word which pops out is regionalism...and then some crap about players not fit enough to make it at the top... balaji has already proved enough at the international level,,he has been much much better than munaf patel, ashish nehra, agarkar.he is a main reason to defeat pakistan in 2004 in their own backyard...besides he is currently in good form in ranji.. when there are so many players playing from north , arent we bearing it and supporting the indian team?? why are u guys unble to accept it? If some one is being selected, appreciate their efforts rather than cribbing about regionalism...

purush you brain less southee, you compare balaji with munaf !!! Check all the records, not one series only. Even in domestic series Balaji is not is par with Munaf. That is why balaji replaces injured Munaf, otherwise balaji should have been selected before munaf for Sri Lanka Series. Shame on you !!!!

Why such a fuss.. will he even get a chance to play ?? Praveen Kumar bowled well so he will play. Then irfan/jadeja will get a chance.

There are so many south indian players not at all considered due to your regionalism (In the past). Very good examples are, Shreeram, Sharath, etc.,

hey guys we are all INDIANS... Dont see ragionalism. Let them play for India not for either tamilnadu or deli, bombay etc.,,
HE HAS PLAYED WELL HE SHOULD BE GIVEN ANOTHER CHANCE WHERES THE QUESTION OF REGIONAL BIAS IN HERE TELL ME SOME NAMES WHO ARE "FAR MORE DESERVING " THAN BALAJI
Re: Re: BALAJI DESERVES A CHANCE

Sreesanth - A very poor Ranji season VRV Singh - Not in Contention for quite long RP Singh - Troubled by Injury and Poor Form Dinda - Quite Promosing, but didnt do that well in Ranjis and Duleep Dhaval Kulkarni - Lacks in Experience (Same with Siddarth Trivedi) Gony - IPL apart, a very mediocre showing in Domestic Cricket B Kumar - Has recently done well
On an average, Balaji deserves a chance for his good performance in Ranji and Duleep trophy as well as his previous experience
This selction is regional biased. There are far more desrving pace bowlers, who could have been called in. Sorry Mr Srikant you are no different than Mumbai lobby.

Yes, Tamil batsmen have averaged more than 30 but with the ball, and Tamil bowlers have always averaged more than 30 with the ball......
