Kumar Sangakkara is a chicken
by M Alem on Dec 28, 2009 10:50 PM  | Hide replies

India is by far the best team in the world and can score 400 plus on any day against any team. The two teams will meet three times in Dhaka in next few days. India will score 500 runs against them to prove that the pitch has nothing to do with India's superiority. India will dominate the next two decades as the best team in all form of cricket.

Shame on you DDCA.......
by NOBODY on Dec 28, 2009 10:47 PM  | Hide replies

DDCA has brought disgrace to not only delhi but the whole INDIA.Instead of admitting its fault, now DDCA is blaming lankans. Its ridiculous. As per DDCA, all are wrong including ICC, Match umpires, refrees, srilankan player, indian players and commentators & There were no wrong with pitch.
This show, how much corrupt & arrogant DDCA is.
Infact, one month back itself ICC has warned abt Kotla pitch but DDCA seems to closed their eye. They have become money making organisation instead of organising cricket. DDCA is the most corrupt cricketing body across India. Before this fisaco, there were serious allegation were there on DDCA such as corruption, partiality in team selection, ignoring internation level players, dictator attitued on players.
Now, BCCI should suspend the whole body of DDCA and elect all new and capable person.

TRUE
by Abhay Kumar on Dec 28, 2009 10:46 PM  | Hide replies

Its very true that pitch was not so bad to be called Off.The lankans were used to score 400 runs in 50 Overs and were surprised with the pace of Tyagi. If look at the srilankans Wicket, Tharanga was not in Line of the ball.Jayasuriya plaed wrong line and Samerweera was RUN OUT.It was expected to support the bolwers becoz of Cold and Fog.Even Pavillion was not visible at the start.Just becoz Sangakaara called off..we started arguing about the bad Pitch. They never say a word in Perth, Port of Spain or in Napier where pitches are worst than Kotla and 150 is supposed to be a good score in an inning. It was not a pitch like Hyderabad or Cuttuck. It was tough for batsman were Bowler got the oppertunity.I am surprised to see the response on bad Pitches and blame on Curator.I am sure those who saw the match from first ball, can understand.

my dear friend, lets admit that the pitch ws not at par. There were uneven bounce which can cause serious injury to not only srilankan batmen but to indian batmen too who were yet to bat.
Haven't u saw the movement of the ball. one ball is bouncing so match that it going over the wicket keeper and second ball keeping so much low that even dhoni was unable to gather it properly.
Dont go to word of DDCA. Everyone including both captain, umpires, refrees, commentators, seniors indian player like gavasker, bedi, more, etc etc and even the previous kotla curator admit that the pitch was playing very dangerous.

Dear Friend NOBODY, I am not sure how many matches u have seen. But, the pitches in Carribians and Perth is much worst. And what this Sangakaara had done if born in the era of BODY LINE. if these players are better than Hynes, Loyed,Chappels(As said) , then it was a simple pitch. These players are getting used to make 50 Runs in 3 Overs. When Kadambi was hitting every ball out of fence, it was good.If you watch the Golden Moments of Cricket on STAR SPORTS, plz see the matches. You'll never complain.and last, we shout about the Bowler friendly pitches.but Its well known that what will be situation of the CURATOR once he makes Bowler friendly wicket in India.he'll get Rewards in AUSTRLY,SA, WI but punishments in India.

i m not sure abt ur age but i m watching match regularly from reliance world cup 1987. And u bet,i have watch much more match in stadium dont think u have watched even single match in stadium.
let's come to topic. u r rite that the picth is not good in carribians too. that's why 2 maches has been canceld there also just like kotla.
and if u r comparing pitch from kotla to perth, then i m sorry to say u must not have played cricket in ur life time.
Perth pitch is one of the greates pitch in the world. Boucy pitch doesnt means dangerous. Pert pith is bouncy and all player playing there do know abt the nature of the pith there. The pitch become dangerous only when there is unven bounce. The pitch then become unpredictable. The player including bowler himself doesnot know if the particular ball will be bounce or keep low or go normal. This was happening at KOTLA on sunday.
If u get time then please go to field and try to play cricket, then u can understand more abt the pitch.

Dear NOBODY,
Its unfortunate to read that you comment so much so high on anyone without knowing the Background. Also, I am watching the Cricket match since 1984.Also, I dont know how many you have watched on ground and played, but My Dear Friend, I have seen the matches at Lords and Sydney as well.Regarding playing the Cricket, I am not a national player but yes, India's top Engr College Cricket Captain, I had been.

It'll be good my dear friend, you keep the rhythem of discussion on Line and dont say on unknown fact.

The Perth pitch is famous for un predicted bounce. if you remember, Sachin haiils his 82 runs in perth as Best. Also, The carribians pitches are called un predicted. becoz on 4th and final day, the pitch becomes dangerous.if you had watched the Kotla pitch, how many balls had gone bouncer or Low. it was hardly 10 if count both. There was movement in the ball and that too ij every ball. Was Harbhajan too dabgerous in the Match.

You are absolutely correct. Think Mr.Abhay Kumar and Chetan Chauhan who talks about chickens and always got out at 99 in his entire Test Career and never got a century no better about chickens than all other cricket players and cricket fans in the world.Arun Jaitley and Co. think by putting the blame on others they can get away with their mistakes. This can happen only in politics not in sports. If any of the Sri Lankan players had lost his eye or got injured would Mr.Arun Jaitley and Co. have got his career back on track. Please do not talk nonsense on this comments section. We won fairly and we lost fairly. But we do not play a game to injure each other that happens only in politics not in sports.Keep your head high we are the champions whether it be T20 or 50 overs or Test Cricket.Lets behave like champions and not cheap politicians who only blame each other and will never do anything for the good of this country or the game.Long Live Indian Cricket.

Abhay I think your in the wrong sport you need to get into kick boxing or mud wrestling this is a gentleman's sport not an accessories shop where body parts can be changed, sri lanka have already lost the series if you remember even if they won the score would have been 3-2 and India was still victorious,i dont think so people have to play cricket to save their lives not for their country and their pride. We were already warned that the pitch was bad during IPL itself, who were those players they were not Indians or Sri Lankans they were from all over the WORLD.Are all these people WRONG and the BIGGEST CHICKEN OF INDIAN CRICKET.MR.CHETAN CHAUHAN WHO ALWAYS GOT OUT ON 99.ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. Dont play POLITICS with CRICKET.CRICKET is a SPORT, POLITICS is FOR INDECENT PEOPLE.Hope you understand what im saying.

Dear friend Sameer,
many Players had lost there body parts while playing Cricket. You have so much good understaning, you must be aware of the same.gatting nose was broken on a batting Track. So there are two possibilities as per ur expectations.
One: Make the DEAD PITCH. Make 500-600 Runs in 50 Overs. There will be no bounce.
TWO: try using RUBBER Balls.

What you suggest?

Srilankans can run but they cannot hide
by M Alem on Dec 28, 2009 10:45 PM

India will meet the Srilanka in Dhaka in a week. India will score 400 against them in two first round matches. Given the fact that hapless Bangldesh is involved, we will meet SL again in the final and will score more than 500 run to silence them for ever. India rules the world.

Dear Ronny, No Team becomes Number one by winning at Home.Second, The Lankans have made the habbit of fleeing. When Blast happend in Pakistan they packed the bag and baggage on the same Day. Although, they were warned before the tour. but they showed as if they are much brave to face any situation. That too becoz of the Fool man Arjuna Ranatunga, who was saying a loud for the trip. They were abused badly by AUSSIES in Australiya, then they never uttered a word.Murli was saying before the tour that he'll play till next WC.After test, he said...I get TIRED.That shows the mind set of Lankans after ODI and test. And worst happend in Kotla.Shame to Sangakara...

BCCI must apologize to Srilankans otherwise future series will not be smooth. Already we all know Srilankans were ready to play even in terrorist country against india's wishes.

I never realised a match could be called off so easily. After five overs you would still say "it was called off easily".

We offered another wicket and said 'give us one hour and you would have it ready'.
Very childish. I dont how chauhan was playing in test matches. Very immatured even at this age.
Shame .. Shame... Delhi capital of india fumbling on pitch preparation so shabbily...
