Sachin--Selfish/playing for records? (NO)
by LG on Dec 23, 2009 02:43 PM

Sachin Haters always make illogical comments—He is selfish and/or he plays for record. So, I was thinking whether they have any valid reasons for such remarks, and came up with conclusion that they have none because they do not really understand what they are saying.

Selfish?
Selfish people are those who manipulate other people to get what he wants. Such people are found out sooner or later and thus do not achieve anything significant for long period of time. Achievements-fame, wealth, and excellent professional career-- of Sachin throughout his 20 years of cricket career indicate he is not selfish.
These brain-dead people—Sachin Haters—cannot and do not understand the difference between an Ambitious and Selfish people.

Playing for Records?
What records are to cricketers or any sportspersons, bonus is to corporate employees. As getting bonus or getting higher bonus is the end-result of an employee’s dedication and hard work, so is a record to a cricketer/sportsperson—the end result of dedication and hard-work. But mind it, to get higher bonus consistently or creating many records one has to be the best in his field consistently.
Since Sachin is and has been the best in his profession for 20 long years, naturally he has all the records and will created many more records.

But, these brain-dead and skills less people—Sachin Haters—cannot this simple thing because they are incapable of reaching to a stage where they can not even dream of getting a paycheck, forget about bonus

Badri has proved time and again. He deserves the next chance, not Rohit.

For Test matches he is better choice.. but unfortunately we have only 4 this year, so not sure how many opportunities he will get if selected.

With Yuvraj and Dhoni absent, R Jadeja will have to perform well. Now with a man of the match award i seriously hope he has that confidence to do so. R Jadeja has been a slow starter but i hope he slowly shapes into a bowling-allrounder India seeks badly.

The present younger players know it the best

the team winning is most important than any personal records..

even once dravid declared when sachin was at 194 not out in a test match... dravid noticed sachin was playing even slower after reaching 170.. in odis its after 80 runs he slows in order to make century

In a book authored by John Wright, he says, in the end India won that match ,so there is no point for personnel milestones. Team Comes first and thats final.
John was the coach at that time and Dravid being the stand-by captain for Ganguly.

Sachin was in no Hurry
by Sachin Krishna on Dec 23, 2009 09:38 AM

If u see the match, Sachin was in no hurry to score a century. Or else he would have taken the power play, more over he was rotating the strike. comming as a opener he faced only 102 balls and given chances to Gambir, Yuvraj & Karthik. When karthik was going more defencive and there where a lot of appeal, sachin went down to him and told some thing, may be "u play ur natural game" and then he came down the wicket and hit that six. Just before the winning four sachin had taken a single, it shows he was not in a hurry to get a 100.

Let us understand that any further record made by Sachin will go to histroy as india's record and it will be extrimely difficult for other countries to break it because they will require a player which is better Sachin,So I think Karthik played like a child who wanted to hit the ball in a match which was almost won by India,However I am not sure in a chrunch match he would have played daring shots like he played in this match, moreover I feel certain players in Indian team needs mental conditioning camps so that they will get some maturity and start playing cricket from their mind also.

Unfair to blame karthik for scoring the winning runs. Sachin had ample time to score his century and infact he had scored a single before giving strike to karthik.Sachin should have accelerated if he wanted to go for a century and he should have opted for power play which was unused. So stop blaming others...Indian victory is more important than personal mile stones...

The match is just for India to win the game.Your person making century and all happens in the process. Why only Sachin, and other players should not exell ? With your illogical thinking like this may be India would have been lost the match by making only sachin to bat. Please understand the match is not for Sachin to make century,
