Guys, the truth is DK felt bad after scoring the last boundary which is nice of him, but that also shows that he is not in control of his shorts. The point to look here is only 2 runs to score to win and knowing some one is on 96 and we have more than 9 overs to score that he should have just defended the last 3 balls. I am sure anyone would have disappointed but not Sachin, it was karthik's turn to show the appreciation of the master to let him score the 100 but he did not. Sometimes you have to play for each other that's also sign of a team player. Sachin remind their with a smile but guys try to feel in his shooes, it doesn't matter how many 100s you score still raising the bat after scoring well deserved 100 infront of a die hard fans is still anyone's dream, and Karthik denied that somewhat to Sachin Tendulkar. The game is over but it is still a disppointment to most of us who love sachin and we started loving cricket because of him. I am not an indian but a die hard fan of Sachin Tendulkar.

Nathan, DK went to 25 very quickly and we still needed more than 40 runs to win. Putting myself in sachin's shoes, I would have helped a new player like DK to score his Half century and would been supportive till the very end. Instead sachin concentrated to score his hundred and that too he has completely forgotten the power play with the sole aim in concentrating to score the century. I am no sachin hater but a leader like sachin should create more leaders than followers.

Dude u getting the plot worng in my opinion....(prithvi) at end of over 41.( chk cricinfo if u want) india were 226/3, (needing only 14 runs) sachin was playing at 90, Dk at 26. So the only player who had any choice was DK to let sachin reach his 100. Dk was no where close to 50. And what did DK do... scored a '6' in 42nd over knowing sachin is on 91 and only 13 runs r to win.. Further at 42.1 ovr tendulkar scored 4 to reach 95 and a single next ball to take him to 96..where Dk slid the four. But i Thnk he shouldn't have gone for tht Six...in prev over knowing tht sachin is on 90 ...india needing 14.. and 9 ovrs remining...

There were still some 9 runs to win i thnk.. karthik hit a four thn.. it was as if he wanted to deny sachin the hundred.. any other guy wud hv jus concentrated on giving the strike to sachn or wud hv jus defended.. moreover karthik has nothn to prove.. anyways he wil be dropped wen dhoni comes back.

He is one of the worst ever pacers i have seen. He never learns from mistakes and is very dumb.
why, in the first place, was he picked for the 3rd ODI if he did not recover. I seriously think he must have shown the middle finger to some senior player, if u can guess who. hahaha

So selfish n dumb of him....don't let him play again..what was he thinking when he played those shots?? when required he doesn't play..n when match result was well known, he plays a big aggresive knock!!!

Whatz his mistake to ban him man? coz he didnt allow sachin to score his century? When a Indian player plays well, u blame him... If he didnt play well before, shouldnt he play well anytime in the future?

Also SL didn't want to give 100 to Sachin by setting a wider filed for India which was supported by Karthink in the end, in that sense Karthik is not mindful of what's going around him. Nothing big blow. Srilankans are in bigger trouble as their key players are already injured. SriLankans have no chance in remaining two matches as well.
